Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay

3950 Las Vegas Blvd South, Las Vegas, Nevada

The Basics

Wander through a viewing tunnel at the Shark Reef Aquarium’s largest exhibit, a shipwreck surrounded by 1.3 million gallons (4.9 million liters) of water. In addition to sharks, you’ll see salt- and freshwater fish, as well as sea turtles, golden crocodiles, giant rays, and more. The touch pool is a favorite among younger visitors, while certified divers have the opportunity to scuba dive in the tanks.

Admission to the aquarium is included in some multi-attraction Las Vegas sightseeing passes.

Neat little activity. Took less than half hour to get through. At the end, there is a little theater you go into & watch a 3D Virtual show- that was the best part

It was a good way to spend Sunday. There weren’t a lot of people and the exhibit was interesting. I’d recommend this activity to anyone traveling solo and/or with children.

This was a visit worth doing with the kids when in Vegas. They thoroughly enjoyed it. The day we did it the VR experience was having some technical difficulties but we returned another day and they kindly let us do it then. Something different!
