Fabulous Louvre Tour
Miriam was an outstanding tour guide for the Louvre. She focused her tour on what we wanted to see and included the three most important pieces. She shared the history of the Louvre and explained the details and background of each work, adding a modern and funny analogy to most things.

Skip-the-line Musée de l'Orangerie and d'Orsay with Guide
Christophe was an excellent guide! He is a fount of knowledge and patiently gave interesting and relevant history as we made our way through both museums. The d’Orsay has the most magnificent collection of Impressionist paintings including Renoir, Degas, Gaugin, Manet, Monet and Van Gogh. So much beauty!

Musée d'Orsay Skip the Line Private and semi Private Tour
Our tour guide David was absolutely amazing and put his degree in Art History to good use. We learned so much about the museum itself and the painters and their techniques and back story. We can’t recommend David and this tour highly enough.

Musée d'Orsay Skip-the-Line Impressionists Guided Tour
It was great to get the history of the evolution of art leading up to Impressionism and beyond and see examples of that art. And just the right length so you could see the rest of the museum once the tour is over. But don’t go on Tuesday! It’s the busiest day because the Louvre is closed on Tuesdays.

Thank you Nadia for sharing not only your knowledge of the great works of art but also your perspective and social context on them. We learned a lot and help us have a better idea on the challenges of the society of the different time periods which unfortunately in many cases we are still having issues with. Great tour!

Dining at theOrsay Museum

If you get hungry for something light, sandwiches and salads can be purchased at Café de l'ours, but for a more thematic dining experience at the museum, visit one of its two restaurants. At Café Campana, enjoy classic Parisian brasserie fare in a dreamy underwater environment inspired by Emile Gallé, a French artist and influencer of Art Nouveau. Or go upscale at the Restaurant du Musée d'Orsay, where French cuisine related to museum events is served in an elegant, chandelier-lined room with gilded detailing and large windows.
