Huka Falls

Just a 5-minute drive from Huka Prawn Park is one of the region’s most dramatic natural wonders: Huka Falls. At this point in the Waikato River, the powerful flow of water is concentrated into a narrow canyon, where it plunges down a 36-foot (11-meter) drop and creates a frothy white cascade. The best views of the falls are from the nearby footbridge or during a jet boat ride on the river.
