Experience waterland was our tour guide company and our guide Teun was excellent!!! He is very knowledgeable, great sense of humor, quite accommodating. We ended up being the only family in the tour since the other people didn't make it on time. What a plus! I definitely recommend this tour group as they are caring and treats customers like locals. What a delightful day! The weather was perfect for a stroll amongst the windmills. So beautiful and so much history. We went to a cute little family run cheese and wooden shoe shop and ate lunch in a local lake side village. Cozy small group van made the trip more personal.

We can’t say enough good things about this tour and our wonderful tour guide Ali. He was nice, knowledgable, friendly, and enthusiastic! We learned so much from him. What a great way to learn about Holland. He was kind and willing to take our picture along the tour so we didn’t just come away with “selfies.” This has to have been one of the best tours we have ever had. Ali really helped to make our vacation memorable! It is obvious that he is a real people-person and loves sharing information about his country.

If you are short of time and need to do things in a short time then this is a good tour, I however felt like more time was needed at each place, and found it too rushed. Was great having a small amount of people on the tour and our guide tried hard, but it all felt a bit stressful.

The trip was not enjoyable. We did not go to cheese farm as we thought, our guide chose the restaurant and very little free time. Windmill only interesting part. Trip included this tour and we asked to pay extra.

It was a very nice trip with plenty of variety, especially liked the clog and cheese making part of it. It was also interesting to visit the farm and see the cows being milked. We also enjoyed visiting the small fishing village. The only slight thing I would say was that the Tour guide Ali was a bit too political for our liking and maybe should have concentrated talking more about the Tour.
