Pleasure your palate with 12 samples of Dutch specialties like smoked sausage, Gouda cheese, herring, licorice, bitterballen (fried meatballs) and Indonesian inspired snacks.

Our guide was incredible! This was the best tour we’ve had-very fun and interesting with great food. Perfect amount of sitting and relaxing with walking. Food was great! Dutch pancakes would be a good addition but not necessary. We loved our group and the tour.

Our guide was very knowledgeable of the area, so of course she selected excellent places for the food tasting. The first stop was fresh fish, Herring, onion and pickles. I have never tried Herring and I was hesitant but to my pleasant surprise it was delicious as she said it would be. I highly recommend this tour!

A Culinary Tour to Remember

Our guide Gerard was very personable and knowledgeable. He led us to six stops where we sampled some of Amsterdam's culinary hidden treasures. The highlight of the tasting was the traditional apple pie. We also enjoyed a sampling of local cheeses, bitters balls, satay, mini panckes and an unusual preparation of french fries. Each sampling was accompanied with a choice of beverages. The ginger tea was a favorite. This tour is a must if you are visiting Amsterdam.

What a day! This food tour was amazing. Masa did such a great job with the entire experience. Our stops were tasty and well thought out, there was a balance of places to stand and sit. Restrooms were available at several stops. Masa interacted well with the group and seemed to know lots about Amsterdam as well as all of the food choices. She made the experience truly enjoyable and we’d repeat this tour with her.
