We had a wonderful experience on this trip with our friends! Tony, Andrea, and Derek (I'm probably spelling his name incorrectly) were great tour guides. They were very informative, patient, and professional. At the end, we even learned a few Dutch phrases. The only recommendation I would make to inform travelers that you will have to get a hard copy ticket at the station before you can get on the bus. We had electronic tickets and thought those would be ok. Nonetheless, I definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The weather could have been better but that’s not in the tour’s control. Great to have the opportunity to see an actual windmill in operation plus a wooden shoe being made. Be prepared to do a fair amount of walking. Also, washrooms at the windmills don’t accept coins, need a debit or credit card for 1 Euro charge. The food at the restaurant in Volerdam is excellent but has big portion. Recommend this tour.

Overall a fun experience. I couldn’t hear the miller very well but enjoyed touring the windmills. The clog making was actually my favorite stop as I had no idea how they were made or why. Satisfied my curiosity and sad I didn’t have room in my luggage to buy a pair for myself. Our guides were fun, enthusiastic and active on our journey. The wedding March on Maarken was a bonus. Don’t knock that against Diana, we were trapped from the path to be able to get out!

The vibe in Rotterdam was electric as we visited during the 4 day festival. Marken was magical and the piano playing coach driver rounded the day trip nicely.

It may sound a long trip, but you got to see so much and their wasn't lengthy bus travel. Also you got enough time to actually look at some of the shops, and have lunch. Great experience all in all.

Being excluded from many of the experiences because we didn't have the "right" ticket! We couldn't go into the windmills for example. There were only 3 of us with the red arm bracelets whereas the others had the green bracelets.

Excellent tour! Our driver was wonderful and played piano and sang to us. Overall our group of 6 had a great time between exploring a real wind mill, walking around a coastal town, learning about Dutch cheese making and how stroopwafels are made, taking a boat ride, and learning about how traditional clogs were made. So much fun!

Only in town for 3 days and visited Amsterdam before so booked this trip. Windmill was great as was the clog making demonstration, Cheese 'Shop' staff friendly but really not much other than a sales stop. Ian, Eric and Jan where great and my wife enjoyed learning some facts from the audio guide.

It was amazing. Beautiful scenery. Interesting. The shoe maker and the windmill guy were great. The bus ride was comfortable and the guides that we had were funny, friendly and we had so much fun with them. I would definitely recommend.

The guide and bus driver were good but the educational portions of the tour were extremely brief (10 mins max at each stop) and then there was lots of time just to walk around. Felt like the main purpose was for us to spend money in the businesses.

It was far to hot for an excursion like that. However, we had two great guys and a fabulous driver who entertained a very big bunch of very turbulent tourists with patience, good sens of humor and professionalism A big cheer to Ian, Eric and Leon (I think the driver’s name is Leon……) merci beaucoup!

We had a wonderful day visiting the windmills, the clog making demonstration, the cheese making demonstration and, my favourite part, the waffle making demonstration. We stopped and had lunch at this amazing village. Agustin, Suzie and our driver (Ferrari) Frank where amazing. Very friendly and very helpful. Very knowledgeable in the history of Amsterdam and we learnt a lot. The bus is very comfortable and has seatbelts. Strongly recommend choosing this company for your next tour.

The Bus driver Steph, was amazing. One of the best. Funny guy and made the bus ride fun. He was very entertaining. My only negative was it did feel a little rushed. A lot packed into the trip. Didn’t leave much time for looking around. Despite that I’d still highly recommend the trip.
Amsterdam country side and Windmills

Windmill, cheese factory and Glogs (wooden shoe factory. Unfortunately we haven’t have a good start as there wasn’t a clear direction to our meeting point (even we were in that area 45min) and because of that we had take a cab to go to the next stop and it cost us 57€. The Tickets&Tours haven’t offer any compensation. And we find out we weren’t the only one and it happens more often to other travellers. But the rest of the tour was nice and beautiful.
