What a fun tour! Our tour guide was Grant. He was very kind, sweet & knowledgable. Even though pouring rain, he made our trip safe, exciting and great. We really enjoyed Hobbiton. As a big fan of "The Lord of Ring" and "The Hobbit", this trip was memorable for us. Rotorua was a very unique place with geothermal enviornment and Maori culture. I definately recommend this trip.

As I walked through the screen set, I was able to imaging myself there. The did an excellent job describing the scenes from the movie as we walked through. The movie clip they showed on the bus to the site set the stage perfectly. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. I also really appreciated the knowledge our tour guide, John Paynter. He has a wealth of experience in a vast number of areas and the stories and history he conveyed to us during the journey were really enlightening and engaging.

Would really recommend this trip. Everything ran really smoothly and planned well. Cam our guide was really knowledgeable, chatty, and friendly. The early start accounts for the 4-5hrs or so of driving, but I felt this was okay considering the distance the places actually are from Auckland.
