Unbelievably, magically beautiful

Our tour guide, Braden, was spectacular! With his knowledge of the location, books, films, he answered most questions before they were even asked. The pace of the walking tour through the rolling hills was perfect. The weather could not have cooperated more. And our bus driver, Raymond, to and from the set was great. I recommend this tour without hesitation!

Paul was a great guide/driver. Very nice van and we were very comfortable for the 1.5 hour appx each way. Hobbiton was awesome. All the facilities and the movie set were beautiful and top notch. We also happened to have beautiful weather. It was a magical day and highly recommended for LOR/Hobbit fans.

Couldn’t have been better. Our small group departed early from Auckland and we arrived right at our scheduled time for the Hobbiton Tour. The cafe has great pastries and hot coffee to start our day. Our tour guide was Haley from Texas - she was awesome! The tour was lively, informative and fun. We took lots of pictures. I highly recommend it!

My partner and I had a terrific experience. Our driver, Paul, from Auckland and Beyond Tours was so professional, friendly and full of information. The bus journey there was smooth and he provided us with interesting and entertaining commentary about Auckland, NZ as well as what to expect at Hobbiton. We also appreciated the complimentary bottle of water and snacks. Visiting the Hobbiton Movie set itself was breathtaking and there were surprises around every corner. The whole experience was a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend and would love to do it again.

Great day out trip in mini bus with full 20 others . It was wet and grey weather but still so much fun . Mini bus Co had no microphone: speaker so couldn’t hear driver and then the air con packed in so tour company 5/19 and Hobbittland 10/10

Good tour of Hobbiton but it is not worth an entire day here. Wanted to combine this with WaiO in Rotura but it was cancelled so did this instead as I wanted to see Hobbiton. Early pick up and sitting around a coffee shop to take the bus out to the site. Not efficient at all. Needs to be combined

Tips? Try to take a photo on all hobbit holes coz it's a very good experience and you don' want to miss any part of the whole hobbiton movie set. This is 2nd time here and i just love to come over and over again😜

Everything about this tour was easy. From the pick up, transportation, tour of Hobbiton, and drop off. This is a no hassle way of seeing the movie set and I would recommend it. Tanya our driver and guide was very knowledgeable about the whole Auckland region and was a great photographer!
