What To Expect

Emerge early and depart from your Dublin hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned luxury touring coach fitted with free 4G wifi destined for Ireland’s West Coast. Admire the medieval Bunratty Castle and quaint village of Lahinch before arriving at the magnificent Cliffs of Moher. On route to the Cliffs of Moher there is a 20 minute rest break, enjoy a coffee and light snacks.

Revitalize with a drink or snack in the café (own expense) and then immerse yourself in the engaging exhibits of the visitor center. Experience the exhilaration of Ledge, a virtual-reality cliff-face adventure, and then head outside to marvel at the natural majesty of the 700-foot-high cliffs. Gaze at the stunning 5-mile (8-km) stretch of the Cliffs of Moher and capture fantastic photographs from a variety of excellent vantage points.

After two hours of independent exploration, travel onward to Burren to admire the distinctive lunar landscape of limestone quarries and distinctive plant species. Next, head to Galway City to embrace the vibrant atmosphere of the former fishing village. Embark on an introductory 30-minute walking tour of the city and its harbor, and then spend the remainder of the tour exploring independently.

Reconvene with your guide at a pre-arranged time and relax during the journey back to central Dublin, where the tour concludes.

What a unique and beautiful experience! The bus was very comfortable and we had a good amount of time at each stopping point to really enjoy the area. The cliffs were quite overcast, but it was still a fun time with gorgeous scenery. Our guide Maurice was really great. He was very knowledgeable and engaging and you could tell he really was happy to be there too. He referred to something as “infused with Irish mysticism” and I’ll never forget it - what a cool guy! Thanks, Maurice!

This was so much fun! The bus ride from Dublin to the cliffs were so worth it! The views were unmatched and I was able to create unforgettable memories for my fiancé and I. It truly was wonderful viewing the cliffs. Rian was our guide and Darren was our driver. We learned a lot about Ireland, Dublin and the Cliffs. The Cliffs may seem daunting to those that are mobility challenged, but there was a golf cart available referred to as the "Lifts of Moher". Galway was a nice break too as we had a nice meal in a local pub. I highly recommend this tour!

You need to know what you are getting into so that your expectations are not tanked. This is basically a destination tour. It is a comfortable bus ride with an engaging and entertaining guide (at least our Elisa was) and an efficient bus driver (as our Darren was). You cannot blame them or the tour on how you find the Cliffs of Mohr. It is the North Atlantic afteralll. We were lucky enough to have a quick glimpse of the Cliffs before the fog rolled in and the torrential rain and wind (very typical here) started. Even in fog and rain, still very spectacular. Just be prepared for the elements - a longer rain coat or poncho plus a sturdy umbrella are essential or you will be miserable and very, very wet. This is NOT the place for fashionable selfies. A compact travel umbrella will do you no good at all and nor will any jacket that is “rain resistant.” The trip to Galway was a nice place to stop for either a quick bite or some quick shopping but not much more, although it was a nice place to walk around and stretch your legs before the ride back to Dublin. It is enough of a stop to make you realize you would like to return to Galway to spend a day or two exploring this quaint harbor city and to experience the many festivals that occur there.

This tour was a lot of fun!! We had a lot of time to explore the cliffs. There were a lot of people though. I do wish we would've gotten to stop on the way through the Burrows. It was such a beautiful landscape. Galway was so much fun!! I really wish we would've gotten at least another hour to explore that fun little city! A definite stop!!

First, I have to comment on our tour guide Dave. He really made the trip an exceptional experience. This was a 13 hour tour, but his storytelling kept us engaged and entertained throughout. Dave is the best tour guide that we have had. Next, I selected this tour because it was the only one that gave us 2 hours at the Cliffs of Moher. We used all 2 hours sightseeing there. The other stops were also amazing. The only negative was that the aircon wasn’t working well and it got a bit warm on the bus. But kudos to Dave and our driver Joe who tried numerous fixes and communicated with us really well.
