an amazing tour! great guide, great wineries, small groups of 6-7 people make all the difference. I have been on multiple winery tours with 50+ people and the experience isn’t nearly as personal and unique. Our guide had some great music as well. We celebrated our first day engaged on this tour which made it all the better. 10/10 would suggest!

My son recently took me to Italy for my birthday! The tour with Daniel was icing on the cake!!! Daniel’s tour through Florence country side and to the vineyards was incredible. Filled with scenery, interesting facts, music, singing, and fun!! He made my birthday a very special one.

Our tour guide, Max, completely made our day one that I’ll never forget. Starting with Piazza Michelangelo vantage point, but getting a voice over of Florence’s history, how it grew and evolved over the years, even down to the thoughtful way the roads were designed! Continue on to gorgeous Chianti region where you learn all about the region and it’s wines with the most stunning scenery you can imagine. It’s possible my soul left my body for a moment there. All I can say is that everywhere I looked, one view was more beautiful than the last, such that the only way my body could cope was to shed literal tears. Such beauty, history, passion and thoughtfulness for every step of the winemaking process. It truly was a pleasure. Also, the day was broken up with a visit to San Gimignano in between wineries. Truly a great day (take your guide’s advice on gelato flavor)

Great wine tour!

This wine tour was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Italy! Our tour guide Max was hilarious and kept the 'good vibes' going the entire trip. We also enjoyed his informative facts about Florence and the Tuscany region. The organic vineyard was our favourite out of the two -- delicious wine complemented with great cheese, bread, olives and olive oil/balsamic. This vineyard had the most picturesque view of San Gimignano, it was truly breathtaking. We also enjoyed exploring the medieval city of SanG (note: gelato is not included in the price, you pay for your own once you get to the famous gelato spot). Lunch at the second vineyard was also excellent. We had the most delicious soup and lasagna, among other courses. The only note I would make for the second vineyard is that they only served us 5 wine tastings, not 8-9 (which was advertised when we first purchased out tickets). 10/10 would recommend this tour!

Christian was the best host, funny and knowledgeable. The day started off a bit late but was made up for by the tidbits of information. The two wineries we stopped at were simply amazing and we also had a nice stop in San Gimignano. Lunch at the second winery was out of this world with special considerations given to my husband who is celiac and me who is vegetarian. A final stop at Piazza Michelangelo was icing on the cake. Christian dropped us close to our accommodations saving us the long walk back. We could not have asked for a better day

What a wonderful experience! Our driver Christian was so accommodating and nice. Our first winery tour at Villa Il Posso was a fantastic experience and not to be missed. Donato is phenomenal. The second winery, the walk through San Gimignano, and the overall experience have been some of the best parts of our trip. Would highly recommend this.

This was the best tour, thank you Christian for being an engaging and informative guide. The visit to Villa il Pozzo was fantastic. Unfortunately we got caught in the rain at S.Gimignano so didn’t see a lot of the town. Lunch was also amazing, so much food with great wine tasting.

Our tour guide ,Guido, made this tour so fun. He is amazing Told us about the history of his town showed us beautiful sites and scenery of Tuscany that should not be missed. The wineries were both different and unique. The wine tasting a 10+. If you are lucky enough to get Guido as your guide you are in for a treat and some wonderful surprises. Do not miss this tour. Excellent !!!

Tuscan excursion with wine tasting!

It was a nice introduction to the process of wine making and how/what the winery (Villa il Pozzo) produces. Good tastings of wine with light bites, and our sommelier was informative and very charismatic. Lorenzo was our tour guide/ driver for the day and provided a good mix of info/history and downtime to take pictures at the locations we were at. We ate a light lunch at the second winery (Fattoria Poggio Alloro) with paired wines. The emphasis of this second winery/farm was that all the food provided at lunch came from the their land. Do not expect a gourmet selection of food. The emphasis of this entire excursion is an intro to wine making and what makes the local wine unique. Seeing San Gimignano is a plus! Glad there was someone else doing the driving! Overall, we had a great time experiencing the Tuscany area. Such history and beautiful views!

Guido did a great job. He provided lots of historical context. We spent time at piazza Michelangelo, which provided exceptional views of Florence, prior to driving to Chianti. We visited 2 wineries, with a full lunch at one and spent time in San Gimignano. Guido was very considerate also humorous. A wonderful guide.

Perfect in every way!

This tour was absolutely wonderful and flawlessly executed by the staff. We started the day at a central location that was easy to find and conveniently located outside of a cafe where we could grab a quick bite to eat or drink before getting on the van. The van held 8 (not including the driver) passengers very comfortably. The first winery we visited was so charming. The wine tasting was directed by a winery staff member who was incredibly knowledgeable and enjoyable to spend time with. Along with the 5+ different wines, delicious meats and cheeses were also provided to the group. The second stop was the town of San Gimignano where our guide showed us to the main square and where we could get award-winning gelato then let us explore the town for about an hour which was the perfect amount of time. The second winery had once in a lifetime views that took your breath away. The wine tasting here was much more self directed than the first one as the wine was poured into glasses all at the same time and set in front of you to enjoy while you enjoyed the beautiful meal. At both wineries we had the opportunity to buy the wine and have it shipped directly to your home but we’re not pressured to do so. Our tour guide was absolutely fantastic and was the icing on the cake to a perfect day. Unfortunately I do not recall his name. I would 100/10 recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for a wine tasting experience from Florence.

Also loved the music playing whilst driving (especially when the disco ball light came on).
