Brazilian Falls, Bird Park and Itaipu Dam from Foz do Iguaçu

Our driver and Lucy our Gide were wonderful! My parents in there 70s were with us and our Gide fried to make it a easy as possible for them.

Tour guide was fantastic. He was able to adjust the tour to meet individual needs while keeping to the published itinerary. Would definitely recommend.

My review is regarding the Argentinian side along with a boat ride with the same company. I booked very last minute (9pm and pick up is 7am) and was contacted shortly after stating the Brazilian tour was no longer available. However, I spoke with Fabio and he was great at accommodating my request, especially since I had only one day available. I was picked up very prompt at my hotel the next morning with guide Antonio. Antonio was a great guide, fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and English (though our tour was only in English). He was very knowledgeable about the process and made crossing the border and journey through the park seamless. Additionally, he was very good at balancing guiding us through the park, but also making frequent stops for pictures. I added the boat ride last minute (at an additional cost) and was very glad I did. The boat ride allowed for a close view of the falls that you cannot get elsewhere. I would recommend this tour for anyone when going to Foz do Iguaçu!!!

This tour is very good for seeing Iguassu Falls on the Brazilian side, the Bird Park, and the Itaipu Dam all in one day. It is very good value for the price, although entrance fees are not included.

Trip was handled by Falls Vision Receptivo. Prompt hotel pick up by tour guide Airton in his car. . It was just me and another guest, so we got to spend a lot of time at the sights. First up was the Itaipu dam tour. Airton drove us to the site and to the ticket booth and we paid for our own tkts for the panoramic tour which was conducted by the Dam's own tour guides on their buses. Very educational and scenic. Then Airton drove us to the Falls. It was off season, so there were no lines at all to get tickets (included in package). Airton drove us to the start of the walking path met up with us at the end/restuarant area. It was an amazing walk through the jungle with lots of viewpoints to see the many waterfalls, not just one but several cataracts. The final leg was towards the main cascade called the Devils Throat and there you're on a wooden bridge over the rapids and you will get wet but will see the falls in all its might and splendor. Niagara pales by comparison. That final leg had the most crowds, but it was manageable and you have elbow room to take great photos. Not so during the peak season when long lines form as far as the starting point for the trail. We then had a buffet lunch (great choices and reasonably priced) bought souvenirs and then Airton drove us to the Parque de Aves (included in package). Again, no crowds so we got to really take our time checking out the birds and taking photos. I highly recommed this tour. Great value for your money. Very enjoyable!

The Falls were really great. This is worthwhile to see. The Bird Park was better than expected with exotic birds and a beautiful park. The Dam was amazing because of its size and importance to the surrounding areas. However, we did not realize that the tour did not include tickets to the Falls and to the Dam which we had to pay extra. We did not read the small print.

Not much to see in the Bird Park's one way system except for a derelict 737 parked outside the entrance. Their shops do however sell very cheap ponchos which will be needed for those who take the walkway out into the middle of the river where the effect of the waterfall spray is continual torrential rain. As most of the mile long falls are on the Argentinian side, the Brazilian side is best for a panoramic view and the kilometre walk along the viewing path isn't physically taxing and may include local wildlife. Tour stopped at a surprisingly cheap buffet lunch price not included on the way through the town to the other river for the Dam which is more interesting than impressive. At the Dam there's a video followed by a public tour bus that drives to viewing locations and temporarily crosses over the structure into Paraguay - though it doesn't stop and crosses straight back. English speakers are supplied with headphones to listen to the pre-recorded bus narration. A good way to get a taste of the local attractions in 8 hours.

What you see and what you learn about the Falls depends to some degree on guides of the tour. We had very good one but not every one was so lucky. It is good idea to read some informations about Falls before going there. Brazilian and Argentinean sides are different even though they are the same Falls. So it is good idea to see both sides. Pick up low season if you can so you will see more falls and less human heads.

This was an excellent tour, but was closer to 7.5 hours rather than the advertised four. I can't imagine seeing all of these things in less time, and all three destinations were well worth it!

Amazing! Since the falls are almost all in the argentinean side, with this tour you have a panoramic view of the falls, which was great! I recommend to do the both tours i.e. argentinean and brazilian!
