- This tour requires 2 guests to run- single riders can call to join a tour that is already scheduled.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

I booked this tour for my family of 4, including 2 teenage sons, and we all had a blast! Our tour guide, Joey, was super nice, engaging, and professional, making sure everyone was clear on instructions and all good the whole time. We saw the shoreline, saw tons of sea lions, peddled through beautiful neighborhoods, some paths, and on the road to Mt. Soledad, often stopping at multiple points of interest. We were in San Diego for 2 days before heading up to LA and it was a great way to experience La Jolla, comfortably, in a short period of time. The riding itself was easy and never once did we feel unsafe. The E-bike tour was a much more engaging and fun way to see the area vs walking or driving. As it was our first time in La Jolla, we didn't know our way around, so while renting e-bikes on our own was an option, it was really nice to not having to pre-plan routes and deal with the stress of navigating unexpected things such as road construction/tricky crossing areas, which would normally be fine in a car, but not so much when your whole family is on bikes and riding with youngsters. It truly takes the planning and thinking part out of the equation so you can just relax and enjoy the sites. 10/10 would recommend - ask for Joey!

Family tour success - fun way to see La Jolla

What a memorable experience. Really. The sights were beautiful, the E-bike was sooo cool and easy to learn, and Ryan was incredibly friendly and attentive tour guide. I personally was super nervous about not having “moderate physical fitness level” for the trip… I was fine 😁 and even if I wasn’t, Ryan was very good at making my sister and I feel comfortable at whatever pace we needed to go at. An easy 5 stars.
Great tour of La Jolla

We were really happy we took this tour. It took us to all the main spots as well as some hidden gems in La Jolla. We even cycled up to the top of Mount Solidad to take in the views. Having the electric bike made it super easy even for people like us who don’t normally cycle.
Our guide, Peter, really made the tour. He knew so much about the area and you can tell he is passionate about it. His enthusiasm is infectious!

What I would not have seen

Came to San Diego for business. I brought my wife and we needed to fill 3 hours of free time. Renting the e-bikes was THE best thing we could have done. We stopped and saw sea-lions, fantastic ocean waves filled with surfers, gorgeous magnificent neighborhoods and Soledad mountain with a special monument to our war heroes across all branches of the service. Our tour guide, Jeremy was so great. He kept us safe and wanted us to have an amazing experience. The ebikes were a blast and will help any one who is challenged by bike riding. So much fun and worth the money and time.

The bikes were wonderful, the guide friendly and informative. Frequent stops to see the wild life, the scenery and some neighborhoods. Decidedly worth the time and money. The top of Soledad mountain, the coves of La Jolla, the ease of the bikes in handling the terrain and the distance made this memorable. Thank you to our guide who's enthusiasm and energy added that special extra.

Peter was a great guide! Knowledgeable about all the sites and the background of all the neighborhoods we passed through.The bikes were awesome. A much better assist than I expected. Jump on the pedals regardless of how steep the terrain is and you are sailing along up the hill. A lot of fun and a bit of a workout.

Really enjoyed this biking trip. Our guide Tyler was full of knowledge and had a great attitude. The electric bikes are so awesome! Great views along the way filled with history. The very end of the trip on top of the small mountain was the perfect finish, and chance to see the entire area.

I was a bit nervous about going on a 13.5 mile bike ride, but this one was no problem at all. You still have to pedal, but the bike does the heavy lifting. Very steep hills were a breeze. Our guide Ty was excellent at explaining how the bikes worked, safety, and what was coming up next on the ride. The beaches, wildlife and the beautiful homes were incredible. He took time for us to stop and take pictures. Didnt feel rushed at all. Ty was a running encyclopedia of fun facts and trivia. His enthusiasiam for his work made the trip that much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this bike trip and Ty.

We had an absolute blast on this tour. I booked it for my husband and another couple. I was a little nervous that the other couple would not be as adventurous as we are, but I think they loved it even more than we did. We loved seeing the sea lions, homes of some stars, and using the electric feature of the bikes to ride up to the memorial. We still talk about this tour two and a half years later. Highly recommend.
