Spectacular trip from start to finish.
Pick up from hotel and drop back off and fantastic 2 hour horseback ride through Red Rock Canyon with stunning views. Staff were exceptionally kind and made you feel comfortable throughout whole experience. My wife and I had two lovely horses called Ruby and Big Sage .

The staff were wonderful, Kind, funny and patient. Thank you cowgirls! Throughout the ride the landscape and pace is Zen! Slim jim was a wonderful first timers horse. He let me pet him throughout the whole ride. I can't wait to come back. Thank you.

Brilliant ! This was an absolutely fabulous trip - the wranglers are so good, they guide you every step of the way & they take such care in selecting the right horse for each rider - right down to the last detail. The scenery is just beyond beautiful- I got paired up with Prince who was the sweetest horse & when tho it was my first time trying Western riding, I felt comfortable & safe the whole time. Thank you so much Cindy & Prince !

An absolutely fantastic experience. Great staff and horses well cared for. Amazing scenery and a brilliant 2 hour trek. Will definitely do again when back.
Awesome. So coming back to do it again.
Danielle_E, Apr 2023
I loved everything about the ride. Lily, my horse was so beautiful, nice, & calm! The wranglers were lovely, made the experience super fun.
I would add that I would not book with Viator again, however. I had original plans for horseback riding and bbq, that was canceled due to their misinformation. Almost missed on horseback riding. The customer service is not the best could definitely use help!
Boring trip
mirelis_r, Apr 2023
It was boring, I would have enjoyed it if there would have been a stop where you could get of the horse and enjoy the view ( by the way, the website shows the red cañón, something we saw from far away) the tur is too long in the horse and boring, to me was a waist of my money
Fun ride

Just what I was expecting. Very friendly, informed and helpful staff. Views were beautiful. Just the right amount of riding for a complete novice.
Great solo or group activity!

Amazing Experience

The wranglers were amazing in making sure everyone had an enjoyable experience. My saddle kept sliding to one side and they kept checking on me to make sure it was right. The photo op at the top of the ridge was perfect!
Great way to see Red Rock Canyon
Anita_Z, Mar 2023
Great way to visit Red Rock Canyon. Do check the weather beforehand, in our case it was cloudy and you can really feel the wind up on the mountains. A pair of gloves is a must if you are riding on a cold day.
Tour was well organised with pick ups from various hotels. Great guides and pace is walk only so suitable for novices.
Awesome Adventure

The view was great. My Mule Millie was awesome. It was all an awesome day. The Wranglers were very good, instructions were spot on, very helpful in keeping us all safe and making sure we had fun.

Lily_A, Mar 2023
My two daughters enjoyed the horseback riding. However I was upset to find out that the driver of the shuttle that picked them up said shame on them for staying at the Trump Hotel. Very unprofessional. Politics should not be involved in this.
Unfriendly guides and poor preparation
Lauren_G, Mar 2023
There is a lot of opt for improvement with this excursion. I think that the tour could do better at anticipating the needs of their customers. For example, the majority of the people who were on my tour were not dressed adequately. The ranchers were all dressed in multiple layers, gloves, etc so they obviously knew that the ride would be very cold. Alerting people ahead of time that they should expect the ride to be cold and extremely windy would have given us the opportunity to dress more appropriately (and probably enjoy the ride more). Similarly, letting people know that they will not be permitted to have Fanny packs or backpacks would be helpful so we can plan to bring fewer items.
The biggest problem with the tour though was the guides. We had three. I would say that one was friendly, another one kind of went back and forth between being friendly and grumpy, and the third one just acted like she had complete disdain for the customers and was unpleasant the entire time.
None of the three were particularly informative. The only information you are given on tour is what you absolutely need to know to ride the mules. That’s it. There are no fun facts. There is no information given about the canyon or the wilderness around you. You basically ride in silence for two hours with only the occasional reminder to sit a certain way. And when you arrive, the ranchers just kind of ignore you for awhile and you just wander aimlessly until they yell at you to finally go to your spot.
The two stars are for the pretty scenery and nice mules.
