What To Expect
Begin with pickup from your hotel (selected hotels only) and travel to the tour departure point in Jean.
On arrival, receive a comprehensive safety briefing, then set out to explore the rugged desert and mountain terrain. Ride through Hidden Valley to McCullough Mountain Range, passing extinct lava beds and Roach Dry Lake Bed on the way.
After a day exploring this impressive mountain and desert territory, relax on the comfortable, air-conditioned return ride to your Las Vegas hotel.

Great tour guide and the trails were great. The ATV's were clean and powerful. Have done this twice before and each time the trails are different. Especially like the dry lakebed where we could spread out and go fast!

Great ATV bike experience

Great time riding around the Mojave desert on the ATV bike. So glad I didn't wimp out and go in the double sweater buggy instead of the single seat bike. Scenery is stunning and it was so cold that we saw snow in the desert. Tour operators were great, regularly checked everyone was ok, allowed us to ride at our own pace, stopped a few times for photos and took us over a good mix of terrain. Highly recommended.

The adventure in the desert I've been looking for forever! I enjoyed it so much. Harley picked us up from our hotel with the best attitude that helped me wake up even with barely any sleep. The tour location is in Jean, so about a 30 minute drive from the strip. Before the tour actually starts, the team goes over safety rules and how to use the equipment. Great team, too. They were all so nice and helpful. Our guide, Cody, was awesome. He gave us some history on some locations and all was very fascinating. A shame we didn't see the big-horned sheep or tortoises, but next time. The ride was the coolest part, very adventure-y. Bumpy but fun on the way to the top and speedy on the way back to base. Overall, highly recommend. You're going to get dusty. I recommend wearing a bandana to cover your face under the helmet.

The ATV tour was fun. However, I was very disappointed that we didn’t get to go to the seven magic mountains as advertised in the description of the tour. This was something I was looking forward to visiting to take pictures and I never got to do it.

Absolutely amazing guides. Struggled with my hand going numb. They did not hesitate to give me a 4 wheeler so I could go in. They were genuinely kind. Would recommend over and over! American adventure tours for the win!!

If you don’t mind bumpy roads and getting dirty it is a nice ride through the desert. Nice courteous guides and young men getting things staged for our ride. We had a nice day wasn’t to hot or to cold. Was just right.

Everything from the transportation, instruction, ATV's, tour and weather was on point. They make the experience based on your ability. Great pics to be had. You finish your experience with time to still enjoy Vegas the rest of the day. Not going is a mistake. Just do it.
