Start your Wild West horseback riding tour with morning pickup from Las Vegas Strip hotels and relax during the drive to the horse ranch in Moapa.
While professional wranglers prepare the horses for the trail ride, take in the serenity of the majestic surroundings, where red rock mountains and desert meet. You are paired with a tame horse that is well-suited to your skill level.
Follow the same horse trails once used by some of the most infamous outlaws of the American West. Keep your camera on hand to capture photos of grazing cattle and, if you have a keen eye, spot bighorn sheep, roadrunners, and jackrabbits scuttling through the brush.
After your horseback ride, dine on an authentic western-style breakfast, including pancakes, choice of bacon, sausage or ham, hash browns, eggs, toast, coffee, and orange juice. Return to your hotel on the Strip with plenty of time left in the day to experience more of Vegas.

This was an excellent tour! Highly recommend to everyone and anyone. Our day started with a nice drive from our Hotel to the ranch. Our driver was very friendly and made our trip enjoyable. Once we arrived at the ranch we were greeted by our tour guides and went through a short but very informative presentation on how to ride safely. The horseback tour went through beautiful Nevada trails surrounded by beautiful landscapes. At the end we returned to the ranch for a delicious breakfast and lasso practice. The tour guides, cook and driver all made our experience very enjoyable.

Such a beautiful and fun ride. The team made the entire experience so wonderful. Would definitely come back next time I’m in town. Cesar, Denny, and Leo were incredible hosts. Leo thanks for making me do the lasso until I got it down!

Leo and Cesar absolutely amazing they made everything engaging and fun. I rode with Kimbo and my boyfriend had Celine. We even had the chance to learn to lasso. Also the food omg the breakfast was delicious the coffee *chef kiss* I would love to go again

Anniversary Trail Ride

My husband knows I love horses so he booked this trail ride to celebrate our 48th anniversary. It was his second time on a horse! Our guides Leo and Hector were awesome! Leo especially was friendly and caring for his guests, making sure everyone was comfortable before, during and after the ride. His banter and instruction put everyone at ease regardless of their level of expertise. It was a small group so everyone got attention. The breakfast was awesome and abundant, prepared by the shuttle driver who wore two hats! He drove us safely to and from our hotel pickup. It was fun learning to rope a “bull”, too! We would highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in a glimpse on horseback of the desert environs away from Las Vegas.

One Hell of A Ride

It was me and my daughter first time ever on a horse. The entire experience was excellent. My husband went also. Leo and Hector were the coolest tour guides ever. They were very attentive the entire tour. Even the driver who picked us up had great conversation. If you never been horse backriding before I recommend you and your family take this tour. The scenery was great.

Highly recommend this experience! There were three of us - myself (60’s), my daughter-in-law and other son’s girlfriend (20’s). They picked us up from a nearby hotel due to traffic issues, about 45 min drive north, horse lesson (including helmets if you want one), mounting then on the horses about 1 hour 15 mins. Super easy trail ride, gentle horses (we rode Dusty, Cricket and Gunner) who knew the trail and the routine, rode across open terrain, sand and through a canyon briefly. Delicious simple breakfast of scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon or sausage and pancakes with juice or water. Can’t say enough wonderful things about Channel and Leo, our guides on the trail ride, and Denny, our driver and chef. Denny also talked about all things Las Vegas as we drove out and back from town to the ranch, very informative, and helped us all in and out of the transport van which once you got a seat, was very comfortable.

Ranch riding with Caesar and Leon was a fantastic experience , made all the better with patience in showing us , as novices , how to enjoy riding the wonderful ponies . Lots of fun including lassoing a bull ( don’t worry not real !) . We were novice riders but felt instruction and safety made it such a brilliant experience in breath taking countryside . Enjoyed hearing about ranch life . Shout out for Donavon who made us a hearty ranch breakfast and safe pick up . Good liaison from Jason throughout the booking .

The Morning Maverick Horseback Breakfast was a BLAST! Leo and Hector were patient, informative, kind, funny, and helpful! We had a whole crew of first-timers, and they put us at ease immediately. The views were beautiful, the horses were very gentle and well-behaved, the breakfast was tasty, and Hooligan and Kada were adorable! Learning how to lasso was very cool too! I definitely recommend this tour to anyone, any age, any skill level! Loved it! Thanks! 😊💜
