If you are going in winter bus tours are not heated and it can be quite cold so layer up.

That's ok if you're hopping off the bus, but it was a bit rainy and windy and most people were staying on the bus.

We had two walking tours with our travel guide, whose name was Diana, and she was excellent! The first tour took us to Buckingham Palace among other places and the second tour took us to various spots in London where the locals worked, ate and drank. This gave us a gray feel for the city. Also, the bus ride took us to laces we would never get to on our own.

The driver and crew at various stops were exceptionally friendly and helpful. It takes a lot of professionalism to drive a bus around busy London and still be patient and responsive with clueless tourists. They were extra patient with my father and his transit wheelchair. Impressed!!!

Great, but where's the human?

This tour offered 3 different routes and many stops at the major sights. The buses arrived often too. But to be honest, I wish there was an actual person providing guided commentary, as the regular tour instructed riders to insert head phones (provided by BigBus) for commentary. However, the Night Tour DID have a human giving the tour and it was awesome!

There were lots of buses so never waited long. The audio comment was good but there were long intervals of music and quiet where they could have added some more interesting things about London I thought. Unfortunately the first bus were started with had audio problems. We changed buses after 7-8 stops. About 5 stops later, the bus broke down and we had to change buses for the second time. Not ideal as we lost our best seat and had to sit on the lower level. I would still recommend this tour unless these problems are recurring.

Thank you for a wonderful and informative tour of London. We stayed on the blue bus for the whole route for approximately 5 hours and we’re able to capture a lot of the Monopoly’s streets and take in the sights and architecture of London. Highly recommend this tour.

I would recommend this to a first time visitor to London. It’s a really good way to see the major sights without having to do a ton of planning. Finding the stops takes a little work and the bus drivers might be friendly or not but the pre recorded facts are pretty interesting!

Easy to use and takes past a lot of major sites Traffic is slow and so it takes a long time to get between stops so plan plenty of time. Take the evening tour if you want to be in less traffic.

Everyone is so helpful. The buses run frequently and the commentary is helpful. Big Bus is clearly the most popular and it’s easy to see why. They do an excellent job.

Left station #1, got stuck in traffic, took forever to get to one more stop! Ruined our day. Waste!

We never got to most of the places we planned to see! Such a waste of money. Traffic ruined the efficiency of the buses. We had 4-5 hrs available to us and at least 50% of that time was spent sitting in stopped traffic or waiting for a bus. Only on 2 different buses the whole time. Gave up and walked to the boat to take the very short river cruise. Such a dissapointment.

Great experience, I have many, many pics, worth the money. I bought the 48hr one which allowed me to ride around no hop off and see where I wanted to hop off the next day. It was a blast, and a fast way to see many sites in a short amount of time. The bus is easy to find and get on and off.
