Great guide and coach driver with 4 great villages visited .
Very knowledgeable and helpful . Full day trip . Lunch was rushed at the Swan Hotel with staff being rather flustered on our arrival and serving the meal. Several participants mentioned their roast chicken meal was dry. This lunchtime arrangement was overall disappointing and detracted from scoring the overall day 5 stars.

Loved the time we spent in each of the 4 towns. Our tour guide Karen was wonderful and our driver Andre was exceptional.
Reservation CANCELLED due to Viator "glitch"!!

I will not trust Viator again with reservations!
Four of us were scheduled to go on the Cotswalds tour. One of my friends had an issue with her payment method ONE day before the tour. Instead of contacting her to ask for another method of payment, they just cancelled her reservation and sold her ticket to someone on the waiitng list!! We had come from the US to make the Cotswalds part of our trip, so my friend was left with no ticket for the tour. When contacted by phone, a Viator rep said it had been a computer "glitch", but there was nothing they could do to restore her ticket. Because this trip was a big deal to my friend before returning home to care for her ailing mother, I sold her my ticket so she could go. (I'll have another opportunity to go someday.) Viator should have found ONE more spot on that bus since it was their glitch that cancelled my friend's reservation. They didn't even *try* to work out something.

Magnus the tour guide was wonderful and informative and our driver, Christopher was excellent.
Wonderful area to visit, so unique, and we enjoyed every minute of it. Lunch at Swan Hotel was very good and surrounding grounds were beautiful.

The towns showed the way things were when they were the commercial centers of the area and they contain numerous shops and restaurants

Lunch was excellent. Had a vegan option if that is important to you. Chicken and mashed with gravy was filling.
There was just enough time for pictures and walking around in each stop. A firm walking pace will get you time to stop off at shops or a park bench. Casual walking will get you photos and memories.
Tour guides and drivers make long distances/days more enjoyable. Nicholas entertained with “facts” and stories, Ricardo made the busy London/Oxford traffic and narrow motorways look easy.
No USB charging on the bus. Not a deal breaker, just plan as you need.
Solid full day. Grab some breakfast before the trip and have a dinner plan near the Gloucester Station when you end you outing.
