  • NOTE: Meet your guide OUTSIDE by the long white gate where the trailhead begins; they wear a neon yellow Bikes & Hikes vest. Do not bother the people at the houses in this neighborhood.
  • Please allow ample time for traffic (welcome to LA!) and for parking. There is free street parking at this location- please follow all signs.
  • We’ll be walking 4 miles (6.4 km) along what is widely considered to be an easy to moderate hiking trail on the Hollywood Sign Hike
  • Most travelers can participate
  • Guests joining this Hollywood Sign tour should be in good health, and enjoy a walk on this Hollywood Hills tour

The hike was not so hard but it took a while, which would have been boring with no guide.

Mark was a great guide - he was very knowledgeable about the sign and its history, and the history of the area and the film industry. We were lucky enough to have pretty much a private tour. Four people were on the tour but we were the only two that went to the top, behind the sign. The weather was decent so the view was great and Mark took wonderful pics of us. All in all a great experience.

It was easy to book so 5 stars for that The customer service rep gave us incorrect name of the guide 3 times so we almost missed our trip. My friend had an asthma attack going up the hill , instructor didn’t even come down to check what happened to 3 people from her group so no i don’t recommend. It’s unsafe no one will care if u can’t keep up

Thanks for leaving feedback about your experience, but according to our call logs your feedback is not fairly representative of the experience we provided. You reached out to us 8 times the morning of your experience because you were not going to make it to the meeting point for your ticketed time. As we always offer, you were given the chance to reschedule to our afternoon tour for no extra charge, but you insisted on sticking with your morning start time. We also cautioned multiple times that the tour does leave promptly at the ticketed time whether or not everyone is there because there are multiple guests that all have their own schedules they are trying to stick to. As you arrived at the meeting point after the tour departed, it sounds like you then tried to run to catch up to catch the guide (who would not have known to go back for guests whom she had all reason to believe we not joining the tour as they missed the start). With all that said, we don’t want you to leave LA with a bad taste in your mouth, so we’d love to host you on one of our other tours so you can see more of the city without forcing yourself to be so rushed. Please reach out to us directly and we will set this up for you.

There was not any memorable parts. I did it all by my self. I arrived a little bit late. Then I messaged them where are you so I can join. After that I’ve arrived at the top of the hill they message me back and they were 23 minutes away from me.

I would 100% recommend this hike! I thought it would be a basic hike but it was quite a good workout! Noelle made it so fun with her stories about LA and celebrities and suggestions around the city. She is very knowledgeable and really helped set the scene throughout the hike. She has an amazing personality. Great views of the city and landmarks and AMAZING PICTURES!!!

Our hike was to start at 4:15, we were there at 3:40 according to google maps we followed the directions to meet, there was also an undisclosed location to park your car so we did but the goggle maps took us around these narrow streets and a habitat of private homes but when we asked around we were told it must be up the street we walked about a mile now time was getting closer and no cell service to call omg! Well we missed our guide! My grandson has ASD and was vivid that we walked so far and missed our guide on our way back to car he threw his iPhone and broke it! OMG so we head back home 3 hour trip. He was left very disappointed

The tour was really amazing with fantastic views plus the information regarding the mountains and the canyons ☺️ The tour guide Chris was really nice as well and plus he becomes a selfie stick for you to take your pictures which makes him really nice ☺️ You really get to see what Hollywood looks like from very close. The only thing you cannot touch it ….Hahhahahah but still it’s worth experiencing one time ☺️ And don’t worry it’s not that a big hike Go to the top, that’s my suggestion for everyone

This was my fav tour that we did in LA. The tour guide was also the best we had and I’m so mad at myself for not remembering his name. Maybe it was Matt? The tour was a lot of uphill walking but definitely doable. The guide is patient and knowledgeable and takes plenty of pics for you along the way.

Noelle was AMAZING. So grateful that we had her as our awesome guide. She was super funny and knowledgeable. Her photography skills are first class too!! It was a really nice intro hike. Nothing too steep. And not too long. Lots of stops along the route to make sure that everyone could be included. All in all I would highly recommend.

I had a great time with Chris who was a superb guide. We were in a small group that was fantastic. I found the journey up to the top to be so worth it and we got up and down with no troubles. Truly stunning up there on the most beautiful day. Chris was warm, kind and very informative.

The tour was suppose to be 2 hours. The guy basically kept coming up with random questions and taking long to drag the time knowing it will only take approximately 20 minutes to get up to the point where we were taken. And he insisted we tip him over and over again as if it was a mandatory part of the tour. So don’t expect much. We finally decided to go on our own to the top of the Hollywood Sign. When initially the tour guide lied and said where he took us was the closest we can get to the sign. But we asked about how to get to the very top where we saw a few people standing and luckily got the chance to get the “closest”. We had to leave the group and do it on our own to do that. And if you want a picture as you see on the profile. You will have to go on your own to the very top where you would be behind the sign and have a breathtaking view which that would definitely be worth the money. On top of that he kept encouraging the group not to go places they had planned seeing, saying they were no good and not worth it and just gross. If someone wants to see a place, guess what? Let them. No place is ever going to be perfect , if that person just wants to take a quick selfie or see that spot that’s okay. You don’t know if maybe that place holds something or is special to that person to talk negative about it. Or joke about how “don’t take pictures or look at that cross over there we don’t care about Jesus we want a picture of you with the Hollywood Sign” a few people where like what. Be respectful of people’s religion, that wasn’t funny at all. But to say don’t go see rich people home that’s just weird and then contradict yourself and talk about rich homes and how someone famous lived on that house halfway up the path makes no sense. To say the tour is 90 minutes and when I said I read it was two hours and to respond 90 minutes it’s 2 hours makes no sense. We went on our own at last we had enough when after just 20 minutes of walking up a path he said we would be turning around and that was the tour. Like are you kidding me that was it? Thank goodness we decided to leave the group and see that amazing view worth so much, don’t let the tour guide miss you out on it

Katy our tour guide was so knowledgeable and informative. It was a wonderful hike, although we started at 2.45 pm finishing at 5.30 just a beautiful part of the day . As we finished it was dark, the company should organise transport down the hill as Ubers will not come, reception is bad and you are basically on your own to get down the hill. Dangerous and uncomfortable for women travelling alone. This company needs to increase the price to allow for that final transport option. Very important to consider as it was not communicated to the group.
