The top is open which is great, but know that it can get very cold up in the hills so I'd recommend bringing a warm sweater and maybe even a knit hat to keep ears warm too.

There is plentiful parking available in structures about a block away.

It gets super chilly up in the hills in the morning with the air blowing through the open bus.

So worth the trip had a blast with mr hollywooddd. Tour guide was enjoyable and funny. The trip was worth every penny. Highly recommend to family and friends. Make sure you ask for mr Hollywood. He’s the best.

Kent drove in open Ben van for about 2 hours and explained each and every location in a very detailed way. I like Kent, he was talking all along for almost 2 hours. Highly recommend this tour.

Most of the tour consisted of random (and likely false stories) from Mr. Hollywood. He went on tangents about things that were not interesting to hear about, for example that motion pictures are pictures in motion (which he told us more than once). Most of his stories were common sense. Quite a few of the houses are no longer owned by the famous people he claimed, which takes away from the tour. He would also point out a house and it wasn’t clear what house he was talking about. Was not an entertaining tour. I think you could find a map of Hollywood homes and take yourself on a much better tour.

My fiancé and I took my mother-in-law because she has never been to LA before and has been asking to go. It was the perfect way to show her around and to see all the “need to see” spots!! Her favorite part was seeing Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton’s house! We loved the whole tour and our tour guide, Mr. Hollywood, made the whole experience so fun and gave us the inside scoop on Hollywood! Highly recommend going!

A great experience for the price paid. Mr. Hollywood, our driver/guide was fantastic! So enthusiastic! Loads of sights covered with informative commentary throughout. The bus was different as advertised, as seen in my photos, and was breezy up in the hills - so a good tip is to wrap up.

Waste of time and money

The driver was not entertaining. He spoke very negatively about the industry and did not offer any positive or impactful information about Hollywood. Too focused on himself. He was going too fast for anyone to take pictures. No opportunity for photos and we were so far away from the Hollywood sign we could not get a good picture. Did not actually see any homes of the movie stars. Not worth the time nor money.
