What To Expect

Discover the Maui Ocean Center at your own pace with this full-day admission ticket and explore over 60 interactive exhibits. This journey through the expansive underwater world is unique to Hawaii, as all of the marine life you see is native to the islands’ shores.

To deepen your experience, trained ocean naturalists will share presentations at the Turtle Lagoon, Open Ocean, Discovery Pool, Living Reef and Nursery Bay exhibits. These expert guides are also available on sight to answer any questions you have about the fish, plant life or coral that you see.

This facility is engaging for travelers of all ages, and provides a richer understanding of one of the most unique aquatic environments on the earth, the Hawaiian waters. See tropical reef fish, octopuses, sharks, sting rays, eels, sea jellies and more immersed in their natural habitat.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Love this Aquarium

We loved it there. We were there 25 years ago for our 1st time on Maui & had to return for our anniversary trip. Would highly recommend visiting!! Especially now when Maui needs visitors more now then ever. We were there in June 6 weeks before the fires. Our heart breaks for all Maui & especially the locals that were affected by this horrible event!!! Prayers & Much Love from The Roberts from Reading, PA

This was our 1st time , we had an amazing experience, my family even had private short lesson learning to play the ukulele 🥰, the dome movie learning of whales was breathtaking 🥰, the shark tunnel was amazing, I totally recommend going to Maui Ocean Center expectation was high and didn’t disappoint, we will be back in the future Sincerely: Corona family from Covina California

Absolutely loved the Turtle encounter and the Humpback Whale exhibit and show!!!! Never seen anything like either before! Staff were super friendly and helpful! I would definitely visit the Maui Ocean Center again and recommend it to all my friends visiting Maui!

Good aquarium. The indoor areas were very warm with poor ventilation for the amount of people. Made it less enjoyable to slowly walk and read. However, the kids enjoy the animals.

It's a nice place but a little small especially for thr admissions price. I would definitely skip when visiting Maui again. It's just a little underwhelming. We took pur 7 year old twins and it was hard to keep them interested and they always love going to an aquarium.

This aquarium was worth the price and visit. It was interesting ,educational,clean ,local people were friendly. If was almost like one of those aquariums in the mainland, because there were more exhibits , informational history and live demonstrations.
