Overview

Priding ourselves on small & local, we will go out in intimate groups of no more than 10 (usually less) & roam Maui's top snorkel destination, The wild reef @Turtle Town with our high end gear(no leaky masks!). Our professional guides will guide you while you gently swim with Hawaii's sacred Green Hawaiian Sea Turtles (Honu's), chase tropical fish, swim alongside lush coastlines, and hang out as friends as we enjoy the ocean & snap high quality photos and videos of your crew (free!). First timers are welcomed but you need to be able to lightly swim. We do provide life vests and our guides carry floatation boards and are very safety oriented. We will give a detailed briefing on safety, snorkeling tips and tricks, & do's and don'ts so no to need worry!

Meet at Makena Landing Beach park(gps this). The address leads you to the wrong location. Theres a small parking lot. We are normally parked near the back left. Look for a grey and black chevy custom wrapped van. It looks like a checkered pattern, hard to miss! Please do not type in the address.

We really enjoyed our turtle town snorkel tour. Our guide, Shelby, was very informative and did her best to ensure everyone was able to see and learn about all the wildlife we encountered. Would definitely recommend this experience, as it was very enjoyable and gave you an up-close look at the turtles and their surrounding habitat.

We have snorkeled all over the world, and this experience was by far the best we’ve had. Joe is an awesome guide, you can tell he knows what he’s doing. It made the trip comforting that he was respectful to the sea life. My wife had a bad experience years ago in Maldives and is now talking about learning to dive. Can’t say enough good things about this experience. We highly recommend Joe and Zephyr Adventures.

This was my first time snorkeling and it did not disappoint. Our guide Joe did a fantastic job pointing things out, getting everyone in footage, and making sure we seen everything we could, including an octopus! He did a great job making sure we were all following along and nobody was too far out away from the group, I seen him periodically looking back to see which made me feel safe as a first timer. Thanks Joe, it was a great birthday trip!

Our tour guide Joe, was very nice. We got to see quite a few turtles, various fish, and even a octopus. The use of the jet machines (not sure of actual name) were a great addition.

Rachel with Zephyr Adventures was an awesome tour guide with a constant focus on safety, providing thorough instructions. She was especially attentive to group members with limited snorkeling experience. The small group experience off the beach was so much better than the big boat trip to Molokini.

Given the tragedy of the wildfires on island we have cancelled all tours for the week. We sent out messages explaining this along with the information that everyone will be refunded in full, and to be patient during this difficult time as our small team of 5 deal with personal problems. Some of our team lost their homes; please be patient during this time and the refund will be sent out within 24-48 hours. Mahalo for your understanding during this difficult time.

Such an awesome experience. We saw multiple turtles and Joe also found an octopus, which is a specialty of his. He took great photos and videos of us with the turtles and octopus as well as us holding starfish and sea urchins. Highly recommend.

Our guide Joe was AMAZING! He was full of so much knowledge. In the beginning of the Tour before we hit the ocean he ran everything down and explained it so well I didn’t have any questions. Everyone should definitely work this into their visit. I took my two kids (12,10) and they had so much fun. They did the swim to The turtles with just life jackets with no additional help. Definitely worth the price for everything you get. Joe took all the pics and videos and even offered some posing tips.
