Disappointing

We arrived at Hawkes Bay off Princess cruise. Found bikes but quickly discovered we would need at least 4 hrs (40km) to get to closest winery and back. Good trails and scenery. 1 of 4 bikes did not have carry bag and post would not stay up and seat swivelled around. No replacement was offered.

Hi Linda Thanks for your feedback and I'm really sorry you got misinformation here as our closest winery is about 12km away along easy pathway. We always offer replacement bikes if there is a problem so something went very wrong with your experience. Again, I am very sorry as this is definitely not the norm for us.

great customer service too little time to do the tour

The set up and bikes were great but having planned to do the shorter of the two wine tours it became obvious when we picked up the bikes we didn’t have time. So although the biking along the boardwalk was nice I would have preferrred with hindsight to have spent the little time we had in Napier. Make sure if you book bikes especially if you are off a cruise ship you have time.... our turnaround was too quick to get the value out of the potential experience. Bikes were well maintained and the meet and greet seamless. Recommend if you have adequate time.

Very friendly people. The ride we chose was ok, but not spectacular. Good equipment though! Always nice and helpful people on the route, to show you where to go.
