Cheaper, more laid back than Upper Canyon - still amazing photos

We did Antelope Canyon Upper in the morning and Antelope Canyon X in the afternoon. Both were amazing - overall similar once inside the canyon. Upper might be a little taller and darker inside, with more texture in the rocks. The colors were stunning in both, it could have been the different times of day. We got some really great bright orange and red shots in X that we didn't get in Upper. The X tour was much quieter and laid back, with more time to wander around and take lots of photos. It was also a lot cheaper than the Upper tour. The guides were great, very laid back, and the ride to the canyon in the air-conditioned van was more comfortable than bouncing around in the bed of a truck. I'd say that Upper was a little more spectacular but X was also amazing. If you have time I think it's worth booking tours in different parts of the canyon to make the most of it. Note we didn't visit Lower Canyon so cant compare that at all.

Really good trip with the lights bouncing off the Canyon wall making an amazing show. Our guide Brandon was excellent by taking as many pictures as you wanted for all family groups and even used some of the phones camera options to show how to get the best pictures.

This Canyon X your was amazing! Canyon X is gorgeous and the guides were fantastic! They knew where the best family picture spots were and were more than willing to take pictures for us and make sure they turn out great!
