Traveler Tips

The guide to know the very best places to take pictures and will take good pictures of you and your spouse highly recommended , only caution is watch the times zones they are very different up there
I would recommend to anyone to take a longer tour if you love to take photos so you have more time in the canyon.

Once in a lifetime experience !
Herbert_B, Sept 2023
We. went on the 10;30 AM TOUR Saturday September 16. The lighting in the canyon was perfect for pictures. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable of the canyon. He explained all the forms and assisted us with pictures . He took the time to be sure everyone was able to get the perfect picture. I would definitely recommend. this tour to anyone who is able to visit this area. You will not see anything comparable anywhere else in the world. Words can't adequately describe the beauty of the colors and formations.
Stunning views a bit crowded
Selena_T, Sept 2023
It was pretty stunning views and our tour guide was nice. It is pretty pricey for what it is and very crowded, but most slot canyons are guided. Still worth seeing
Our guide was excellent,...
Jong_S, Sept 2023
Our guide was excellent, a lots of effort was put in, better than the upper antelope canyon tour, we had 10:00 tour Monday, Sep 18. Our friends were from San Francisco, thanks to our guide, forgot the name of our guide, sorry

This was amazing ! The pictures don’t do this place justice. Kennedy was our guide and he did a great job explaining the geology of the slot Canyon, and he also took a lot of pictures for all of the tour participants. Highly recommend!!

The views were amazing! Our guide, Jerry, was friendly, helpful, and informative. He also knew a lot about cameras so he took awesome pictures for us!
Beautiful Canyon! Choose another tour company!
Linda_S, Sept 2023
The canyon was wonderful, and our tour guide was great! The issue came in the fact we were being herded like a group of cattle! We were with Ken’s Tours and their “ supervisor” Was behind us, and was constantly saying move forward you’re lagging, however, there were people in front of us and people behind us in a single file row. We couldn’t go any faster. Really ruins a beautiful tour when you’re constantly getting pushed. We paid a lot of money, and there was no need for this, as we were not lagging, and we couldn’t go any faster than we were. Very hard to enjoy the tour and take pictures in that scenario. I would go with a different tour company for sure.!! The canyon is beautiful. Just choose a different tour company.
Bucket list item!! Just DO NOT book with Viator!!!
CATHY_C, Sept 2023
Lower antelope canyon is a bucket list item for sure....absolutely breathtaking! DO NOT book with Viator...they charge more than double what the ticket can be purchased for at the site or through Navaho Nation or other tour groups!!! Very disappointed in Viator! It should be illegal to price gouge like this!
Response from Host, Sept 2023
We are happy that you enjoyed the tour. Tour times sell out in advance and middle day times are at a premium, and also include the Navajo Parks and Recreation fees.
Fabulous wonders
JERRY_S, Sept 2023

Response from Host, Sept 2023
You are right! It must be experienced in person. So glad you enjoyed it! Thank you.
Unbelievable beautiful
Maria_V, Sept 2023
Shelby was an amazing guide, no questions were unanswered. She knew exactly where and how to take the perfect pictures.
Response from Host, Sept 2023
Thank you.
Pricey but it’s beautiful
Karenwithaza_D, Sept 2023
It’s beautiful but not worth the price. I think it should be $50 cheaper. The tour guide was pretty knowledgeable and we were able to take amazing photos. However it’s pretty crowded with all the people going on the tours. I’m happy I was able to experience it but like I said, it’s pricey for what they offer.
Response from Host, Sept 2023
Glad you enjoyed it.
Horrible Experience
Tyler_E, Sept 2023
We drove up five hours to go see this beautiful site and they canceled on us. Was supposed to be a good experience but turned horrible.
Response from Host, Sept 2023
We are sorry that the weather causes the canyon to be closed at times--we are at the mercy of this.
Incredible and Beautiful Views
Leslie_S, Sept 2023
This was an Incredible experience, I absolutely loved it. It was beautiful to see the Canyon in person. Raquel was our tour guide and she was awesome! She was funny and had great energy. She ensured everyone in the group got great photos and shared so much information about the canyon and Navajo people. I 100% recommend visiting the antelope Canyon and booking with Ken Tours, very smooth experience.
Response from Host, Sept 2023
Thank you so much.
we are sorry, but we had a bad experience with the Navajo ant the bad service - for a lot of money
Pavel_S, Sept 2023
wated 60 USD by using the agency, to buy a ticket directly at the site would be 60 USD less , and we had bad experince with the service by the Navajo Indians there , we were witing at the place for 40 min before the tour and were said to be at 3 pm at the entrance, when we came there at 2:55 they said, we have to wait for the next tour at 3:30 p.m - anither 30 min
Response from Host, Sept 2023
We are sorry that you had a bad experience, but hope that you could enjoy the canyon.
Antelope Canyon Beauty
