The best way to see the Bay of Islands

My wife and I were cruise passengers to the bay of islands. Upon arrival at the parasailing office we were greeted by the friendly and professional staff. The two operators made the experience smooth and pleasant. The boat ride was stunning and the parasailing component was a thrill. We were up in the air for about 15-20 minutes which felt long enough to soak in the sights. The whole experience felt very safe in the hands of the skilled operators and was more comfortable than I had expected in the harness. The operators were mindful of our cruise departure deadline and made sure to get us back in time for our shuttle. I would highly recommend this experience based on the quality of service that the operators provided.

Drive into Paihia itself was beautiful. Veena n i fell in love with place. Went to the counter. Shaun and his English colleague were friendly. But asked me whether my booking was rescheduled which it wasnt. The boat ride with the wind tearing through the hair was exhilirating. Have done this before elsewhere but the view of bay islands was brilliant. Good experience. I didnt mind the expense but it is pricey as everything in NZ is. A similar ride in Asia elsewhere would probably cost only 20 NZ $. That i believe is a huge deterrent to budget tourists. Having said that I loved it and would recommend it to all who would want to. A must on the life bucket list Dr Mohan Chandavarkar India
