Full day sightseeing that really packs it in

While no one can change the forecast, our guide Ramona made the best of a very wet rainy day! She was always upbeat, possessed great knowledge and was very funny. Some guests were a bit lackadaisical and slowed us down, but she kept the group moving as best she could. Her descriptions were very detailed and colorful. She had to shepherd 11 people on the Metro, a brave task!! I would definitely recommend Ramona as tour guide anywhere in Paris. We really filled the one day tour with so many destinations, from Sacre Coeur, to Sorbonne, to Musee d'Orsay, Notre Dame, Eiffel tower, and Seine river cruise.

Great for history/art buffs, not for everyone

Pros: Our guide was extremely factually knowledgeable about every aspect of the tour. It would be a wonderful experience for adults with a deeper interest in the history of the landmarks and art. However, I would not recommend this tour for families or older adults with any mobility concerns or for those that want a more holistic view into Paris and it's people. Cons: We received so much factual information-- too much-- especially when walking with the headsets. It was difficult to hear and since it was being narrated while moving, very difficult to follow along. It became background noise. We were originally supposed to go to the Louvre when we registered, but the itinerary changed to the Musee D'Orsay sometime leading up to the tour. Ok, but we were never made aware. My biggest issue-- we began at 9. Had a stop for a snack around 10:30 and did not have lunch until 3pm. At no point were we given a 5-10 minute break to buy water or take pictures. You just fit it in as you were listening and/or walking. I would also have appreciated if our guide would have introduced himself and told us a little about his experience and why he enjoyed giving the your etc. It all felt a little stilted and awkward. Tons of information with little personalization or connection. I have gone on many tours in different cities and for me, this one fell flat for a LOT of money. It lacked engagement and interaction which, for me, are the best parts of getting to know a new city with a local. Perhaps I am not the target audience, but others should be made aware prior to committing to an entire day in Paris.

Our flight was delayed by 24 hours and so we were unable to meet this tour at 9am on the designated day. I called Viator in advance several times to see if A) we could get a refund (answer: no) or B) Could I meet the guide at the end of the day at the Eiffel Tower to collect my admission tickets and also the Seine River Cruise tickets (family of 4). I called and talked to service agents who said they would attempt to reach the actual guide about meeting at the 1/2 way point of the tour or meeting at the Eiffel Tower at the end -- and they promised to get back to me but no one ever did. I am devastated about this as the tour cost us $698 USD and because of a flight cancellation, we lost all of that money.

Amazing tour guide, great tour, got a log done in one day. Just two pieces of feedback. Tour guide took us to a cafe for breakfast at 10. It wasn’t included in the tour and we had to pay ourselves. I wish we had free time to walk around and buy souvenirs, because I already had breakfast. Also there were long stretches of the tour without access to washrooms. The tour could have planned for washroom breaks or warned us if there won’t be washroom for awhile
