Best Hiking Experience
Ava_F, May 2023
Tracy was not only super educated on all nature we encountered, but she had such an amazing passion and vibe it made the exploration even better than we could imagine. We had mentioned that we really wanted to see the waterfalls in Olympic, and she took us to 3 huge one and several small ones along the way. I would highly recommend, there was a lot of hiking but also good rest time during the drives and stoppes at the lake.
A rip off !!!

This was a waste of money and time. This trip was suppose to be 4 hours- however it turned out to take 40 minutes each way to get to and from Hurricane Ridge. Our guide took us for a short hike that was maybe an hour. He then brought us to a spot for a rest. He said he would return after a bathroom stop however he ended up taking a hike on his own and came back 40 minutes later. We didn’t know if he left us stranded there or not. We wasted $170 on a very short walk that we could have easily done on our own. The hiking company even used our senior National Park pass to enter which in turn saved them money. I don’t know how it was determined this hike was worth $170-which I wish I had back!

Hi Margaret, I’m sorry that the tour did not meet your expectations. I reviewed and received your feedback and have already issued a full refund on our end prior to this review after your first email to us. We want to provide positive memories for travelers exploring Olympic National Park and I understand that we didn’t meet your goals Sunday afternoon. I hope the rest of your trip to the Pacific Northwest goes well.
Amazing views and wildlife.

We had a great guide who informed us about the history of the park and helped us look out for critters we were likely to see. The hike was challenging for some in our group but we were rewarded with amazing views at the top!
Yes, our heads were in the clouds!

What an afternoon! We started in sunshine as we drove to hiking area. Then clouds set in and it became an other worldly tour. Eric was excellent guide to keep us calm and appreciation for all of it. Taught us helpful high altitude hiking tips and great stories. Watching the Mountain View that surrounded us while feeling the cloud pellets on our faces…wow. Thank you Olympic Hiking Company!
