The tour was good but our English speaking tour guide didn’t speak very good English so it was very hard to learn about the colliseum while trying to decipher what she was saying! She was very nice just not ideal circumstances!

From start to finish this was an amazing experience. Communication was a breeze and staff were very helpful and quick in replying to any texts sent. Our guide - George - was absolutely brilliant! Very knowledgeable and took his time with us. He stopped in shaded areas and was very concerned for the large groups well being. He was also very funny and interactive. Kept the entire group engaged. The tour company was Barcelona or something and I would highly recommend this tour. Lots of walking so be prepared for that. Went my my family, included an 11 year old and a 70 year old and all enjoyed.

DO NOT BOOK!!!! We got scammed into this booking and robbed of an experience of a lifetime with our children! We booked this 1-hour Express Colosseum tour thru viator for August 2'nd @ 5:00 pm start as we had dinner reservations for 7 pm and we are only in Rome for the 1 night prior to our cruise departure! Received a text from the company's representative SIMONE via WhatsApp the day prior to say to meet at 5:40 pm and the tour will start at 5:55 pm! I questioned him on the time change as our booking was for 5:00 pm and he/she replied stating that they were forced to move the time due to ticket issues. Please refer to the WhatsApp chat thread attached. We showed up early at 5:32 and started sending messages on WhatsApp as we were at the meeting point but no one else was there - ** All messages were being read right away but no reply.... We waited and waited and finally someone local directed us to the Viator office right around the corner down an alley - We went inside only to be informed that there is no such thing as a 5:55 pm start since the last tour is 5:30 as they would have to clear security before the gates lock up at 6. As we are discussing this with the front desk, another family with children came in behind that were given the exact same start time of 5:55 which was also changed BY SIMONE from what they originally booked at 5:00 pm. They also got robbed from visiting the Colosseum! They told me that I should see the refund in 3-5 business days... Today is August 15'th and STILL NO REFUND! Contacted them again thru WhatsApp and no reply!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND OR YOU WILL ALSO BE ROBBED FROM THIS EXPERIENCE... SHAME ON THEM!

The guide was very bad, not only confused, disorganized but also rude. She is not very knowledgeable, her attitude is very bad. She made us wait for no reason at the beginning she was confused with the number of people, tickets, so our tour started much later and we had to wait few times inside Colosseum for her to finish paperwork. the tour had to be finished at 7 when it’s closing time. Very bad experience and waisted a lot of money since we we are family of four

We went in fast, and our tour guide was wonderful! A lady in our tour fell and hurt her knee , they were quick in getting help and while they were taking care of her our tour guide kept it very professional and we were not forgotten by giving us more information until the lady was better and able to continue with us.

While I enjoyed many Viator tours in Rome this was not one of them. My time was moved without my input, the actual tour was late starting on a very hot day, the experience was not as described. The tour guide too frequently stopped to share stories and catered to the two families with young children. Result is we stood too long in one place. My husband and I left the tour early so we could view the colosseum.

The time was changed to a later time by 2 hours, this was communicated 2 days in advance though. In Italy these are well expected. The tour was worth the money. Andreanda was very knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, she had a well grasp of the history and details of the tour.

Got in quick and hassle free. Our tour guide was nice. We had headphones to hear him speak which was good since it was pretty loud & crowded-at times he sounded muffled. It was an ok tour nothing special. Just think of it as a quick pass to get inside, get the basic info for about an hour. Then you can go on your own if you wish. It was our first time in the colosseum & was pretty impressive.

Our tour guide, Laura, was delightful but this company is TERRIBLE. They delayed our tour time by 2 hours and didn’t notify us until we showed up for the scheduled tour. The later tour started more than 30 minutes late. Do not recommend Real Barcelona
