I can’t give 5 stars because we didn’t get what was booked. I REALLY wanted to see the underground, gladiator area and that was NOT provided. The time of our tour got changed 2 times, and they did offer us a discount if we took the changed time. (Otherwise cancel the tour) Over all the tour was excellent. Our guide spoke great English and he was very informative about everything. I highly recommend the tour but make sure you are flexible for the day! A few people in our group had to leave early because they had another tour that conflicted with the change of times.

Underground tour is the only way to go! Amazing experience. Tour guides were informative and recreated a picture that transported you into the past. Given that it was so hot outside it was nice to spend half the time underground where it’s nice and cool. Our group fully enjoyed this tour! I would recommend!

The day before our tour received an email that stated the underground portion was canceled. They offered us the Colosseum tour with Palatine Hill/Palace tour and a refund of 20%. Although our guide was fantastic, majority of our tour was at Palatine. A little disappointed since when we were in the Coloseum we saw others touring the underground.

We were offered another tour and partial refund that was nice, however while on our other tour we saw people on and underground tour so not sure why ours was cancelled. Our replacement tour was excellent but we dod not get to see the underground as hoped.

Tour guide was good. Seemed a little rushed probably because it was super hot. Sadly the company changed the tour a few days before we arrived so we didn’t get to show our son the underground portion. As it was the best part, it was a big disappointment. Also didn’t see any of the “museum” portion like we did previously.

It was a great tour! But about a week before the tour, it was cancelled and a new day was given for the tour, however it was not the underground Tour. It was the 1st and second level of the arena. They did adjust the price to reflect the inconvenience.

This was a fantastic tour. We’ve been to the Colosseum before, but had never toured the underground area. It was very interesting to see it from a different perspective. Our tour guy, whose name I can’t remember, was full of stories and history from the different time periods. The Forum was also very interesting as well. This tour was an excellent value for the money. I highly recommend this tour.

This was a bit of a bait and switch as we purchased a small group underground tour, only to be told a few days in advance they wouldn’t have that tour.m and we were moved to a standard tour with a bit of a refund. It was a fine standard tour, but nothing different than any of the other 100 operators in the Colosseum that day.

We had a great tour guide that was very entertaining and informative on the history of the Colosseum. She went at an appropriate pace and we got to see a lot. It was so nice getting to skip the line and go right in. I recommend going earlier in the day as it can get very hot. The meeting point was a bit confusing as it was our first day in Rome and we weren't familiar with the area. It was very cool getting to see the underground. Overall this tour was very enjoyable!

Tour operator cancelled the underground tour and offered to refund our money or rebook us on the a different Colosseum tour. Since it was so close to the date, we took the rebooked option. The rebooked tour was not great. The tour guide had low energy and we could only understand 25% of what she said due to a thick accent. At one point, she asked us to spend 10 minutes taking photos so she could argue with the colosseum workers because they accidentally scanned her afternoon tickets.
