You will pass through strict security checks both at the Colosseum and at the Roman Forum entrance. Please be aware that security check lines are not skippable
Flying drones and knives of any kind are strictly forbidden. Neither trolleys and big backpacks nor animals are allowed into the Colosseum. Glass/metal containers and sprays of any kind are also not allowed
The order in which the sites are visited during the tour can vary; either the Colosseum or Forum and Palatine Hill will come first
The Belvedere is momentarily not part of this tour due to COVID-19 restrictions
A moderate amount of walking and steps are involved; wear comfortable walking shoes
Please note that the group will leave the meeting point 15 minutes before the starting time in order to pass the security check

The tour guide was amazing. Very knowledgeable and patient. We did not see the underground part of the colleseum. Which was part of the tour we paid. We were really looking forward to it and disappointed that we never got to see it.

Tour Guide was knowledgeable, allowed for questions, negative was we we paid for under ground tour which was canceled last minute, other people rebooked because theres was cancelled and still did not deliver. I requested a 30 percent refund which they gave thus the 3stars

It was good except for being rushed through half of the tour. My wife was scolded by one of the colosseum employees when she stopped to take a picture and she fell behind the group. We also had issues with the raidos and could not hear the guide a third of the time. The raidos we provided by the Vatican.

Friends & Family private tour of the ancient Roman Colosseum

The most memorable part were all the ancient ruins, and very informational. And it was a lot of walking and lots of steps going up and down everywhere. Our tour guide was outstanding. We really enjoyed her and her knowledge of the colosseum.

Coliseum underground is great.

We toured the Forum and the guide explained the different levels of the ruins. It was a city built upon the ruins of a city built on top of the ruins of a city. We toured the Coliseum underground with a tour guide who was a historian and very knowledgeable of the area. We really enjoyed the explanation of the way it was at the time of the games. I find it hard to believe that they built it in 6-8 years.

Filipo was knowledgeable and engaging. The tour lasted more than 3 hours and largely avoided the massive crowds in both the Forum and the Colosseum. The small-group tour was certainly worth the extra money. We were a little disappointed that we were not able to go underground but appreciate that Viator was not responsible for that and that they promptly refunded us some of tour cost. Recommend highly!

Tour was great - tour company not so much!

Scheduled time was delayed at least an hour, found this out when we arrived. TOURISKS Reps did not communicate very well. Once the tour finally started MARCO was awesome. Very knowledgeable, funny stories, good pace. Got us to the colosseum and handed us off to CLAUDIA who was also amazing. Both great communicators. She took us through the lower level of the colosseum and shared a great deal of its history. Very hot day - bring a hat, water bottle and comfortable shoes! Great experience, not everyone gets to go below, so very special.
