The Agrodome is a 350-acre (142-hectare) sheep farm located only 6 miles (10 km) from Rotorua, with excellent public transport from the city center. Suitable for all ages, the Agrodome makes a great morning or afternoon of family entertainment.

Agrodome Farm Show - Get ready for a fun-packed hour of entertainment and education for the whole family, the legendary Agrodome Farm Show!

You’ll hear amazing facts and have a few laughs as you’re introduced to 19 breeds of sheep.

Then, witness a live sheep shearing demonstration and a fun sheep auction with bidding from the floor and audience participation.

Agrodome Farm Tour - Climb aboard the all-weather, all terrain vehicle as we begin the tour. Along the way, there are fascinating things to learn - and a few laughs too!

You’ll get to hand-feed and take photos with all sorts of friendly animals, including Romney sheep, cattle, deer, llamas, ostrich, pigs and alpaca! During your ride you may even spot some rare breeds of sheep.

The unique presentation...

The unique presentation of hippie sheep is amazing. Both adults and kids enjoyed it very much. Even the weather the time we have visited was not great, the staff managed to carry on the show and the tour to the farm.

On our visit to Agrodome- I was disappointed. I visited years ago & it was a highlight of my trip! I’ve remembered the visit all this time. On this visit The acoustics were of poor quality & we could only make out a few words the presenter was saying- the slow shearing was not impressive nor were the three dogs- they didn’t obey the commands & seemed distracted- like any other dog actually- I had bragged up Agrodome for years- this performance was lack luster and unimpressive. I do not often complain so this is a rate exception- just thought management should know

This is a great tour and we highly recommend it. Seeing the different kinds of sheep, and sheep dogs. The presentation and audience participation was excellent. Lots of photos and videos. Nice cafe and gift shop as well. Note the wool separation machine in the gift shop.

So funny! The show was adorable and we LOVED seeing 19 different sheep on stage. Then the cow - which my daughter was able to milk on stage. The the herding dogs. Then the baby lambs which I was able to nurse. Absolutely incredible!!

This was such a fun morning! The sheep show was interesting and had some cool information and participation from the crowd. If you're going to visit the Agrodome, though, make sure you take the farm tour! You get to feed the sheep and alpaca and be up close to a lot of great animals. We also got to sample fresh kiwi juice and the local honey. Definitely spend a few hours here!

Fun! The sheep show was entertaining and the sheeps were really adorable. Aside from that got to learn a lot about sheeps and other animals from all over the world. Tour of the farm was fun especially trying to get pictures of the little lambs and alpacas. Wished got more time on the kiwi farm. The kiwi fruits were tasty! Suitable for all ages.

The farm tour and sheep show were great. We liked that we had the opportunity to be closed the animals after the show. My family enjoyed a lot and we would highly recommend the Agrodome tour to the families with young children.

This show and farm tour has great reviews but I still was worried. Shouldn't have been, it was great. I have adult children 18-22 and they even enjoyed it! We were there in early winter June so the crowds were less. It could get a little less enjoyable if it was overcrowded.

Must see if you are animal lover. Take combo with farm tour, where you can encounter animals. Best part, animal feeding is free and they only provide food of animal to feed. Absolutely free. A must see in Rotorua.
