Good experience tour guide, knowledge guide. Only thing was open bus was airy and your was expensive interns what was shown . Also our tour finished earlier then 5 1/2 half hours in less than 5hours. We felt something was missed .

You need to be into celebrity to enjoy this tour

In hindsight we were not the celebrity seekers that would enjoy this tour. There was limited time to see the Hollywood sign (or be anywhere near it) and the walk of fame. The majority of the tour was driving round the homes of the rich and famous and onto Rodeo Drive. You also get an hour for food at the farmers market In all a waste of time for us but could see why some would enjoy it

The actual tour delivered as expected,& the time length of the tour was about right. Just one disappointment;we found the Tour Guide average at best,he didn't really give a personal touch with the passengers,& his jokes started wearing a bit thin after a while.

Sadly we were hugely disappointed with our tour on 4th April which we’d organised for the day of my Mum’s 70th birthday. We did an LA city tour 14 years ago and had such a fantastic time, we wanted to bring our parents to experience the same. Unfortunately the tour guide just wasn’t our cup of tea. He didn’t introduce himself, mostly only talked to the people in the row behind him, and he spent way too much of the 6 hours talking about his life story… 29 years living in a rent-controlled apartment which cost $1,000 when it was really worth $3,000; the saga of his landlord trying to evict him multiple times and the stressful process of legal litigation; his previous life working as a chauffeur which he clearly misses; his political views on Kamala Harris, the local city councils and way too much talk of Hell, Hades and ‘unaliving’ (i.e. suicide) which just wasn’t appropriate for our 13 Yr old son to hear, and nothing to do with an LA tour. The balance of the tour wasn’t right in our opinion… 4.5 hours driving around LA but only 30 mins at Rodeo drive (not enough time given we were parked 10 mins walk away; other tours give you more time there), 30 mins at the Hollywood Walk of Fame (also not enough time); no stop at the Hollywood Bowl or Rockwalk/ Guitar Centre on Sunset Blvd for music fans and too much focus on home of stars and studio executives/directors/producers of old old Hollywood (1920s-1960s) and less time on more contemporary stars from the 1970’s onwards. The Farmers Market for lunch was great and the view of the LA valley was spectacular, although other tours give passengers way better photo opportunities of the Hollywood sign and also give people an opportunity to get out at the Hollywood Bowl and take pictures too. Also the tour bus is open air… fine when the weather is great but on the day we did the tour it was cold and extremely windy which also made it difficult to enjoy the tour… we were looking at the ‘Day In LA’ tour buses which are enclosed and wishing we were on those. At the end of a very cold and very disappointing/ frustrating day, for the last 40 mins we had to listen to him giving the family in the front row directions to get across LA for their journey later that evening. Despite being angry and fed up we gave him a minimal tip as he at least dropped us off at our hotel at the end of the day. Our biggest regret was not cutting our losses earlier in the day and getting a taxi back, although we had to endure the tour guide for over 4.5 hours before we got to see the Hollywood Walk of Fame/ Hollywood sign (other tours do those first) so that wasn’t an option either. Lots of other great reviews of this tour so I don’t think our experience was by any means typical (more an issue with the particular tour guide), but given it was booked to celebrate my Mum’s 70th birthday it will unfortunately always be remembered for all the wrong reasons.

My girlfriend and I booked this tour as we were flying out of LA and didn’t have much time. The tour itself is alright. However, we experienced a lot of “I’m not sure” from the tour guide as well as a lot of “… used to live here but not anymore” or “… lives not in this one but a few blocks in”.. in this sense, we didn’t see the celebrity house but the house that’s 3-4 houses before.. also, when they said they would take us to the Hollywood sign I was expecting to get a little closer, they take you to a lookout where you can see it, but it’s so far away you won’t see it when you take the picture. Other than that, they take you around LA and Hollywood which is good and the tour guide is quite friendly. Good to get you driven around if short of time

It was a very informative tour. We learned a lot about the area and Josh made it really fun. He has a very warm and engaging personality. I learned a lot about Santa Monica, Beverly hills, and Hollywood. Great way to learn about the city and not have to fight traffic. I wish they would make it a little more clear when they're going to pick you up at the hotel before the tour begins. Josh came to the hotel at 11:30 to pick us up and I wasn't expecting him until 12:00 so that was a little confusing. Overall it was a great tour and Josh made it a great day. We were truly impressed with how much research he's done to acquire the kind of knowledge he has about the area. He was amazing!

I have used Viator tours in the past when traveling in Europe, so I am familiar with them. When my Mom came for a visit from NY, my first thought was to take a Viator tour of LA and Hollywood! It did not disappoint! We traveled up from Orange County and parked at nearby Santa Monica Pier. We met with our tour guide, Geo, before hopping onto our windowless tour bus. I would note that it was chilly that morning....I'm glad we dressed appropriately! Geo was super friendly and funny. We had terrific conversation as he was very infomative about the places we visited and gave ample time for taking pictures and wandering around. And, if you are into fast cars, he know his stuff! We passed many on the streets as we traveled along. He actually made conversation with a guy driving a Bugatti Chiron! The guy played along as we tried to race him, lol! It was great and everyone on the bus enjoyed it! All and all the 5 1/2 hours flew by and a wonderful day was had! I highly recommend!

Bus needs some TLC, not in the best shape. Not the best guide for this tour - nice, funny but quickly became annoying. Guide pulled a few illegal turns which was worrisome

It was a good tour. We'll worth the money. It was a stress-free and entertaining experience. It was cold on our tour day and they supplied blankets to us. We got to see lots of iconic sights in one day. There was lots of time at each stop to explore on our own. I would definitely do it again. My only notes would be that the tour guide was a little PG at times which we didnt mind. He was funny. But I'm not sure I would find it funny as a parent. The vehicle was very dated and seats stained.
