Beyond our Expectations

So happy we did this Scottsdale to Grand Canyon/Sedona tour. Pictures just don’t compare to seeing these places with your own eyes. Our guide, Cody, was absolutely awesome and full of fascinating information. We learned so much from him about the different cactus varieties along the way, as well as the Navajo Indians settled there. Sedona was equally amazing, and Cody gave the names and interesting facts about many of the red rock formations. I highly recommend this tour.

We traveled from MS and the main reason was to visit Sedona and the Grand Canyon. With this trip we did that and so much more!! We truly enjoyed ourselves. If you are thinking about going please do it!! It worth every penny and minute!! We wouldn’t have been able to do it without this your company.

We had never been to Phoenix, Sedona, Scottsdale or the Grand Canyon. We picked one day to take a trip to the Grand Canyon and Sedona from Scottsdale. We chose this trip from Viator.com. Our guide, Cody, was wonderful telling us about the things we were seeing on the way to the Canyon. He was so interesting and a real nice guy. After seeing the canyon we went to Sedona which had interesting rock formations. I never realized Arizona was such a pretty state. We really had a great time and I can’t say enough about Cody.

If you are looking for the best way to see the Grand Canyon and Sedona - book this trip! Cody was professional, knowledgeable and very organized with this full day (14 hour adventure) excursion. We spent just the right amount of time at the Grand Canyon and Sedona. He gave us ample time at each location to check out the views, take pictures, grab snacks, breaks and shop! Cody is professional and personable and does a great job of setting expectations with each stop.

Day trip to Grand Canyon and Sedona

Our day started with a prompt 6am pick up at our Scottsdale resort. After stopping at 3 more resorts to pick up passengers we were on our way. Cody provided a wealth of info along the ride and pointed out places and things we would never have known about if we were on our own. After about 2 hours we made a pit stop in Bellmont just outside of Flagstaff to use the restroom and grab some breakfast. We reached the park entrance a little after 10 am. We made 2 different stops to get different views from the south rim. If you’ve never seen the GC it is truly breathtaking. Pictures do not do it justice. By 1:15 we were eating lunch just outside the park. From there it was a scenic drive about 2 hours to Sedona which was also beautiful with many shops and places to eat while looking at the surrounding Red Rocks. We felt the timing was perfect and we were very very satisfied with the tour. The only thing I regret is taking the back seat for our family, a little uncomfortable for 3 adults. We chose it so I can’t fault Cody. Just a tip for others. The van was new and clean and cold water bottles were provided. No regrets. Thanks Cody!

As for the seating, I did offer for your party upon pickup to sit in the front area including the front seat with has more leg room, your party declined my recommendation. There was also a few other seats your party could have moved around in the van. We appreciate when guests bring seating inquiries to our attention upon leaving and not telling us after the fact. We stride to have a comfortable trip for all guests, and I have special recommendations based on group sizes for seating because I handle a lot of groups. As you stated our vans are brand new and nice for comfort. Glad you enjoyed our trip overall!
