Explore not only the underground passageways that were built more than 120 years ago, but also the modern Pioneer Square that exists today.

It was raining the day we went so there were some puddles to deal with so wear comfortable shoes that are appropriate for the weather.

The tour is only one hour, so great for kids.

Rod was great. Really brought some of the stories associated with the Seattle underground to life. The tour itself was very good, with access to a lot of the old street level underground and a lot of history about how it came to be. Highly recommend.

The tour person was informative and funny. She explained the history of why seattle had to be built above sea level. She also gave an insight to where were underground to street level. She pointed out spots on street level where a brothel was, etc. I loved the little gift shop which had reasonable priced items.

Jennifer was a great tour guide, and honestly we would have really really enjoyed the tour if not for a family with two very young children that dominated the tour. Made it really hard to hear the guide and see the photos, plus they pushed to the front no matter where they were and were the only ones who could ask questions, which were mostly questions about rats. The tour guide really needed to tell them to let others ask questions, as the parents were completely oblivious to how inconsiderate they were to the rest of the group. Disappointing because it cost so much to go on this tour and it really ruined the experience for everyone but the 4 and 6 year olds. Need to have an age minimum for this tour because it’s clear they were comprehending only 25% of it but asking 100% of the questions.

Loved it! Definitely worth the 1 hour tour. Dave was an excellent guide. He shared so much history from the early days of exploration, fur trading, interactions with the local tribes, settling, growing businesses, fires, floods, quirky ways of people and politics, all blended into funny and memorable stories. It was an underground and above ground walk of the large area that is Old Town. Tales of Wild West, Gold Rush, the underground “trades” that the people and politics wanted to pretend didn’t exist. And current day uses for the underground old building fronts and spaces. Excellent! Would do it again. Very interactive guide that customized experience to the groups areas of interest and both asked for and answered all our questions

We don't love guided tours because they take too long and are usually boring but this one was great. Knowledgeable and friendly tour guide (Kieran) gave us a history of Seattle. Loved going into a door off an alley and down the stairs. Very cool to see the old brick walls, photos and other remnants of history under the streets. Used the tickets to get a discount right after on Smith Tower.
