What To Expect

Meet the cruise at Pier 69 bright and early in the morning in the heart of downtown Seattle and relax as you travel in comfort and style to Victoria. Enjoy the cruise through Puget Sound and into the Strait of Juan de Fuca on your way to Victoria's Inner Harbor.

Wide, comfortable seats provide ample legroom, making your trip easy and relaxing. Some seats have tables so you can enjoy onboard meal baskets or a refreshing beverage right at your seat (meals and beverages are not included). Pass the time by shopping at the onboard duty-free gift shop for gifts, luxuries, and souvenirs. Or step out on the deck and observe the beauty of the passing scenery. The friendly crew can answer all your questions and help you in any way they can.

Dock at Victoria's Inner Harbor—right in the heart of downtown Victoria. This convenient docking area gives you the freedom to start exploring Victoria on your own the minute you step off the boat.

Return to the dock prior to your departure time, if you've chosen a round-trip option.

Restrictions occur with bikes and dogs; you must advise at time of booking if you need to bring a bike or dog on board
A US Passport, Passport Card, Enhanced Driver License or an Enhanced ID Card (EDL/ID) is REQUIRED to cross the US/Canadian border by land and sea. A Passport is required for air travel. A Passport Card or EDL/ID are NOT valid for air travel.
Persons with a felony may be denied entrance into Canada. A DUI is considered a felony in Canada.
Passengers are allowed 1 small carry on. Checked luggage is $15.00 per piece of luggage, each way.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Hi, sorry to hear you were disappointed with your trip. Unfortunately there is a bit of a black hole for Wi-Fi during our crossing of the Salish Sea and thus the service is not provided. Nonetheless, guests do have service for the majority of our journey via any major carrier. We also like to encourage putting technology away to enjoy the scenic journey and take a tech detox.

We had a wonderful time. Make sure to park where the ticket tells you to as the boat will give you validation for free parking. Also upgrade to comfort class for only $10 for a much better view, seat and tables.

My husband and I booked this trip since he has never been to Canada and I wanted him to see Victoria. I am on a cane, so the staff in the port - especially on the arrival to Canada - were awesome and took me to the head of the line and looked after me. The trip was pleasant, staff was great and we had fun - thank you to everyone - I am a southern girl and you showed us the south is not the only place with hospitality - Thank you !!!!!

When I made the reservation I was not offered option of comfort and vista class seating. When we upgraded in Victoria they were having difficulty. They said that there are always issues when they try to upgrade a Viator reservation.

Too much time travelling 5.5 hrs . Then 2 hrs waiting for customs. Then you were nearly back of the line to board the boat . It cost $25 dollars to up grade on board. You are not giving this option when booking. I would go and book direct with Victoria line itself for this tour.🙁🙁☹️

The swell was less than a foot! The day was cool and clear with only a slight bit of fog along the way. We upgraded our tickets from economy to vista level and in retrospect we should have purchased the vista level initially! When you make your reservation, plan to stay at least one night and couple the cost of the Victoria Clipper with your hotel stay and a trip to the Butchart Gardens for great savings.

We enjoyed our trip from Seattle to Victoria, BC to see Butchart Gardens. Our only regret was it was sold out Saturday and Monday so we had to do the whole thing in a day (Sunday) but we considered ourselves fortunate to get a ticket at all on Memorial Day weekend.

If I had to do it over it would be that a day is not enough time. If considering the clipper plan on staying at least one night if not two. There is to many things to see and do that I feel we missed out on due to time constraints. Victoria BC is absolutely beautiful! I wish I had stayed longer. The clipper staff is exceptional. ...it was a wonderful day thank you!

We could tell the Clipper has been in business a long time. They have every detail perfected. If you buy your tickets through Viator, you get on in the first group. It was nice to be able to choose where we sit. The boat was very full on the ride over on Saturday morning, but not as much on Saturday pm because many people stay for the weekend. Seats were comfortable. There is not much to see along the way so bring something to do...cards, book, movie, etc. Minimal food is available for purchase by credit card only, but what they have is good. You can bring your own snacks/drinks if you want. Allow some extra time for disembarking as it is don't in groups. Overall, a great way to get to Victoria for the a day or two.

What a great way to travel from Seattle to Victoria BC. Roomy seats and great staff made for a nice adventure. We were fortunate to see Orca Whales on the trip to Victoria BC. Loading and unloading was organized and orderly. Would highly recommend taking this day trip.
