* Kaitiaki is the Māori word for the Guardian of the Environment. This is collected on behalf of the local iwi for their role in taking care of Lake Taupō and the Waikato River. This will be collected when you arrive.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Taupo kayak trip

Overall the trip was good, very nice view in taupo lake but was hoping to have more beautiful nice photos like those pictures shows on the website, maybe it’s because the water proof camera, none of the photos was good which is very disappointed

Hi and thanks for taking time to post your review. I'm really sorry that you were disappointed in the quality of the photos we provided. The ones on our website were taken by a professional photographer from a drone, so would be very difficult to provide for every trip as the safety of our guests is our priority. Our guests are welcome to take their own cameras/phones - however there is the risk of losing these overboard, hence us providing photos at no cost. If you could let me know the date and time of your tour, I will review the photos and discuss them with your guide in an effort to improve our offering.

It was really beautiful route and easy to kayak but too short, almost 45 minutes in hot springs. They could also wash life jackets too, they smell bad.
