Tauranga and the kiwis

Nice tour with very good information on kiwis production. It is a good way to visit Tauranga area when you only have few hours before to go back on the ship. The cost is good for what you get, good value.

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Guide Jenny who was wonderful! She clearly explained all the sights we were seeing but also knew when to just let us enjoy the scenery! Despite the frequent rain throughout the tour, Jenny still managed to make the excursion enjoyable! It was interesting visiting the Kiwi farm and seeing how they were grown, sampling them as well as Manuka honey. The various other stops we made were very interesting and informative, esp about the history of the area as the Elms Mission House were lovely older women took us on a tour through the buildings and grounds. The ride was also very comfortable in a smaller Mercedes passenger van as opposed to the big coach tours where you are forever waiting for stragglers! Photos stops were appropriate - just the right amount! The only thing that wasn't too clear was the time to meet the tour - we were arriving by ship. However, everything worked out fine. I would highly recommend this excursion - gold value for the amount charged!

A wonderful tour

This was an amazing tour. A lovely Van, with comfortable seats. We went to Kiwifruit country, and road on a kiwi train and gained some much knowledge about kiwi's from the owner. We stopped at a lookout, got some great pictures and saw some of the vegetation. Then we went a tour of the Elms, I highly recommend this for anyone going to Tauranga. This was one of the best tours we took on our cruise.

With Jenny very informative tour.loved kiwi country tour. Could not believe all the science of growing kiwi fruit. Would have been nice to have been told what time to meet as we were ov er an hour waiting for others who had been told

This tour was great! It is a small group tour approx. 10 people and all places are handicap accessible. The kiwi tasting and vine tour was fascinating. This is a great tour if you are looking for a city tour of Tauranga while your ship is at port here.
