Exceptional Experience

Susan was amazing and exceptional! She greeted us with a sigh at the ferry and headed immediately to her electric car, which was spacious and nice for our private tour. Susan took us to lovely view points around the island and shared beautiful stories with us. She's a great tour guide and very friendly!! We went to 3 wineries with 4 tastings a piece. Mud winery, Batch for wine and lunch which was incredible, and our last stop was Stoneridge winery. We had warm weather and sunshine with no clouds in the winter, which is unheard of. The views were amazing and the skies were blue and clear. So if you can, please sit outside to experience the views and wine taste. We then proceeded to Cable Bay as a bonus last stop, before heading back to the ferry.

Amazing vineyard toir

We would highly recommend this tour. Myself, my partner and our friend booked this tour and we all had such an amazing time. Graham, our tour guide went above and beyond to make our day. If we wanted something, Graham made it happen. He was knowledgeable about the island and showed us more than just a wine tour, he allowed us to experience the island. Graham played a huge part in making our day memorable, we can’t thank him enough! We attended Stonyridge, Batch Winery (where we had lunch) and Mudbrick. These were the ones we had in mind which Graham had already hand selected for us and booked in. I personally have not been on a wine tour as good as this and it exceeded my expectations by miles.

Wine tasting on a beautiful island

Waiheke Island is beautiful. Our tour guide, Susan, was wonderful. So knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. All wines from NZ, mostly from Waiheke. Some were terrific, some were ok. Between the 3 wineries, a nice selection.

Tour review

Due to the smaller group size, we were able to fast more of the island than other tour groups. The wineries were specialised and each tasting made us feel special and the service was first class. Highly recommend.
