What To Expect

Meet your guide and group at the designated meeting point for your early evening departure, then make your way to the grounds of the United States Capitol. Follow the Presidential Inauguration route down Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House, where you can take in the north side of the building and Lafayette Park, and continue to the Treasury Building, the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, and the Blair House.

Visit the World War II Memorial, then travel on foot to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, set at the edge of the Tidal Basin. This is the perfect spot to snap a photo of the Jefferson Memorial across the water. Tour the Korean War Veterans Memorial, and walk up the steps of the Lincoln Memorial for views back towards the US Capitol.

Make the final stop of the night at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial—your guide can assist in finding a name on the wall, as you hear the individual stories behind the war. This tour concludes at the Vietnam Memorial, close to public transport and National Mall sites.

A great way to see the major monuments and attractions without the crowds, and lit up beautifully at night. Our tour guide Dustin was fantastic, giving us a virtual history lesson as we went along. Highly recommended.

A fantastic tour! Special to get Up close in front of the White House; site of Abraham Lincoln’s assignation and death. All the memorials and sites lit up at night were magical and a full moon over all! Even though it was windy and rainy we had the best time. The tour guide was amazing and knowledgeable. Made us so comfortable. This is a quick moving tour so you get the opportunity to visit all the monuments and stop at some other sites. I have been on many Night Tours in DC and this was my favorite by far!

Would have preferred to view the monuments during the day

This is not the fault of the tour guide or the tour company, but many of the monuments were undergoing construction projects and after viewing them at night, I wish I had seen them during the day. It's probably just me, but the Viet Nam wall is a great example of a monument that I wish I had seen during the day. This is just my opinion. Also, the bus was overcrowded and the seats were too close together.

The guide stayed with the van almost the whole time. We are from out of state so not familiar with the area. Had to stop and ask where Korea memorial was and had from there had to ask where Vietnam mem was! Finally had to use Google maps, it was really dark! Took 2 tries to find the driver after! The guide should have been with the group as with other groups we saw! $198 for 2 people and this level of service is outrageous! I'll find another tour group next time!

Our tour guide, Dustin, was excellent and extremely knowledgeable. He pointed out everything listed and more. We had plenty of time at each stop. I learned so much about DC on this tour.
