I go to DC to visit family often, and this tour will make it difficult to go back to the National Mall during the daytime.

Many of our team members work remotely, so it was nice to get the team together and see the monuments decorated for the holidays and take group photos.

Great tour and guide...

The monuments at night are quite moving and spectacular. Highly recommended. The tour guide knows his stuff and did a great job.

OK trip

We were in the back of the bus. There was no view towards the back, which meant that we had a really limited view on what we passed. The driver was nice, it was a nice route. Also, because of the small bus size, there was ample time at the stops. But still, the limited views was what determined our experience.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable, however he provided maybe too much information especially about sites we weren't actually stopping at and couldn't see in the dark. I'm glad we went within walking distance to the White House. We missed getting off at the Jefferson Memorial since we ran late. The guide provided pamphlets for the major monuments which was nice and offered to drop me off at the Metro. I just think the tour needs editing.

Political and awkward

Booby was our tour guide. He was very free in sharing his political views and I found it extremely divisive. Our country is divided very close to 50/50. Why would anyone want to go on vacation to hear someone spout negativity or anything negative while they were trying to enjoy their vacation? Certainly not me. I spot checked some of his “facts” (easy enough to do - we all have phones). And he was also sharing some inaccurate data.

Hit the highlights. Tour guide adjusted route to successfully avoid some rain showers. Some were upset he didn’t mention that the Vietnam memorial was near the Lincoln memorial. So some did not get to see that.

The Lincoln Memorial at night was breathtaking as was the Korean War Memorial. The enormity of the MLK statue was amazing. Your was maybe 30-45 mins too long. Driver was informative. Overall a great experience.

A van showed up to pick us up and it was too small to accommodate the number of people who had booked the tour. We were forced to wait 30 minutes for a bus to pick us up. The bus that arrived had dark tinted windows so unless we were at a scheduled stop you could barely see, and taking photos was not an option. The tour also did not follow the itinerary listed on viator. We did not visit the Jefferon Memorial, which was something we were looking forward too. We are happy that we saw the MLK monument, but we had already planned to visit it the next day.
