Traveler Tips

I go to DC to visit family often, and this tour will make it difficult to go back to the National Mall during the daytime.
Many of our team members work remotely, so it was nice to get the team together and see the monuments decorated for the holidays and take group photos.

Great tour and guide...
Michael_F, Sept 2023
The monuments at night are quite moving and spectacular. Highly recommended. The tour guide knows his stuff and did a great job.
OK trip
jan_h, Aug 2023
We were in the back of the bus. There was no view towards the back, which meant that we had a really limited view on what we passed. The driver was nice, it was a nice route. Also, because of the small bus size, there was ample time at the stops. But still, the limited views was what determined our experience.
Thomas_F, Aug 2023
Illuminated-monuments were awesome. Driver was very informative. Drive was nice and knowing of everything
Good tour but need a bit less detail.
terri_b, Jul 2023
The tour guide was very knowledgeable, however he provided maybe too much information especially about sites we weren't actually stopping at and couldn't see in the dark. I'm glad we went within walking distance to the White House. We missed getting off at the Jefferson Memorial since we ran late. The guide provided pamphlets for the major monuments which was nice and offered to drop me off at the Metro. I just think the tour needs editing.
Political and awkward
Karen_W, Jul 2023
Booby was our tour guide. He was very free in sharing his political views and I found it extremely divisive. Our country is divided very close to 50/50. Why would anyone want to go on vacation to hear someone spout negativity or anything negative while they were trying to enjoy their vacation? Certainly not me. I spot checked some of his “facts” (easy enough to do - we all have phones). And he was also sharing some inaccurate data.
Gentle night-time fascination
Gary_O, Jul 2023
Driver had a lot of interesting info and a gentle demeanor. While I appreciated this, on a night tour it might put some people to sleep
Hitting the DC highlights at night
Blake_D, Jun 2023
Hit the highlights. Tour guide adjusted route to successfully avoid some rain showers. Some were upset he didn’t mention that the Vietnam memorial was near the Lincoln memorial. So some did not get to see that.
Good time and views
Keith_A, Jun 2023
Had a great time. We were able to see many sites in a reasonable amount of time. Driver was very knowledgeable of the area.
Travels With Simon.
James_B, May 2023
Simon was a superb docent/driver under difficult circumstances as officials prepped for Memorial Day weekend madness.
DC at night!
Dee_M, May 2023
Great tour guide - very knowledgeable. Made the trip enjoyable only problem - and not a tour problem but DC needs more lights around the city😊. Im sure with the taxes we pay they can afford them! Great Tour with Frank and LABO tour! Definitely recommend!
Great evening.
ALYSON_H, Apr 2023
Narrator was very well informed and entertaining. The monuments look even more beautiful at night. I would recommend this tour highly.
The tour guide was...
Emma_C, Apr 2023
The tour guide was amazing. He kept us entertained and was knowledgeable about historical facts! I would definitely do this tour again.

Coe was the best tour guide ever. Very knowledgeable. We have done a different tour before but this was the best by far!

Nighttime DC At Its Best
Marguerita_K, Nov 2022
The Lincoln Memorial at night was breathtaking as was the Korean War Memorial. The enormity of the MLK statue was amazing. Your was maybe 30-45 mins too long. Driver was informative. Overall a great experience.
Seeing DC at night is amazing, this tour was not however!
S_B, Oct 2022
A van showed up to pick us up and it was too small to accommodate the number of people who had booked the tour. We were forced to wait 30 minutes for a bus to pick us up. The bus that arrived had dark tinted windows so unless we were at a scheduled stop you could barely see, and taking photos was not an option. The tour also did not follow the itinerary listed on viator. We did not visit the Jefferon Memorial, which was something we were looking forward too. We are happy that we saw the MLK monument, but we had already planned to visit it the next day.
No fun
Susanne_C, Oct 2022
Do not take this tour , you'll be sitting in the bus with dark tinted windows and won't see anything.
