    This unique eCruiser tour provides an entirely new perspective on the city of Washington, DC and its many famous landmark locations by the light of night. 

    Climb aboard a nifty eCruiser vehicle — an open-air, eco-friendly electric cart that offers as much in style as it does with substance. 

    See the Washington Monument lit up for the evening; the Thomas Jefferson and Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorials, illuminated by indirect lighting from the Tidal Basin; the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial, featuring cascading waterfalls and scenic sculptures; and the National World War I and World War II Memorials, with a spectacular fountain display.

    There’s also the Lincoln Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the White House, Capitol Hill and the world-famous dome of the United States Capitol, plus the United States Supreme Court Building and the Library of Congress. Along the way, hear the historic stories and facts that make the city of Washington, DC one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States.

    • This is a small group experience, with each electric cart limited to a max of 7 people. Whilst we do our best to seat groups together, we aren’t able to guarantee this and at times, groups may be asked to sit on separate carts.
    • This tour runs year-round and will proceed rain or shine unless such weather constitutes a dangerous situation. The final decision on cancelling a tour will occur at least 1 hour prior to departure and all possible guests will be contacted.

    • Most travelers can participate
    • Carts accommodate most types of infant seats and we encourage parents to bring their own. We can provide an infant seat, as long as a guest calls us at least 48 hours before the tour and informs us of the age and weight of the infant.
    • Wheelchairs can be accommodated, but not provided. We must be advised at time of booking if bringing your own wheelchair to ensure we can accommodate your request on your chosen date and departure time. All request are subject to availability.
    • The itinerary and its order of stops are subject to change at any time. Monuments visited may change due to local road or monument closure which are beyond our control. Most travelers can participate
    • Your tour covers the National Mall in an all-electric vehicle. We're committed to reducing the environmental impact of vehicle-based tourism in Washington DC, which makes up the vast majority of tours given in this city. Make a "green" difference by seeing the Mall via electric transportation!
    • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 7 travelers

    Cancellation Policy

    You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

    • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
    • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
    • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
    • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
    • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

    Incredible tour!! I’d give it 10 stars and recommend this to anybody who wants to learn more and see more of DC. Peter was extraordinarily knowledgeable about the history of the city and all the signature sites. Our guide was fantastic!

    Hans was incredible! We had a big group of people and he remembered everyone’s names, gave us so many recommendations, and was so informative. The group was skeptical going into this, but after the experience we had with Hans we would definitely recommend him and this tour going forward! 10/10!

    Out tour guide, Peter (from Massachusetts), was the absolute BEST!!! He was full of knowledge about all of the monuments and sights we were seeing. His information about Washington DC and America history, in general, was enlightening and much appreciated. REQUEST PETER AS YOUR GUIDE!! Seeing the monuments and the city of DC lit up at night was beautiful!! Our family thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The small group tour on the cute little red cart was the PERFECT way to get around the city and hit all the highlights. Excellent experience!!!! Awesome way to tour our Capitol city and the DC monuments!! 10/10 RECOMMEND! To note: we met right at the entrance to the Judiciary Square Metro station Entrance off of F street (At National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial - Across the street from the F St entrance to the National Building Museum), 450 F St. NW, Washington, DC 20001. Peter kindly dropped us off back at our hotel, he was the BEST.

    Don’t miss out on booking this tour! The Moonlight Electric Cart Tour is more intimate than some of the larger options out there as there is only a maximum of 7 passengers. Our guide Teddy was fantastic. He delivered the facts of the tour with a local perspective, a great sense of humor AND a largely DC based musician playlist. The sites are magical and awe inspiring at night and the tour provides a whole different perspective of the city. You won’t regret the experience!

    We booked this tour in July for our September visit to the area. The night of our tour, a thunderstorm with a ton of rain and lightening hit the area. This is an open air experience. We immediately called Viator. Due to the weather, and my limited mobility (wheelchair) I can’t walk much less run to shelter. We called 3 hours before the tour asking for a refund or to rebook for the next day. Viator said it was up to the vendor, the vendor said we had to go through Viator since we didn’t book directly with them. We were disappointed with the run around. Disappointed that both companies care more about profits than safety or customer service. In the end, our request for both a refund or rebook was denied. We are out $171. Dangerous weather should be a reason for a refund especially considering my mobility

    We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Carl our tour guide and driver was most informative and made the stops very easy as we knew what we were looking for. The weather was beautiful too as there was no wind so photos captured the reflection pool so well. I would recommend this tour.

    Our guide, Bill, was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. He knew exactly where to stop and gave us plenty of time to ask questions and take pictures. He also offered to take everyone’s pictures in front of the different monuments.

    It was a unique way to see several monuments. They look so different all lit up at night. The electric roadster is a fun way to get around and made it easy to get in and out to see the sights. Great guide.
    Good Tour but don’t get the rumble seat

    I have taken this tour before and found last night to be average. Two things stood out. We were a party of three and joined a group of very Vice people who were a party of 4. Two of us were seated in the rumble seats a of the vehicle, this is not the guide’s fault but they need to eliminate those seats. When facing backwards and getting told to “look ahead” to either left or right it’s impossible to look ahead! Also the guide was a very nice man who treated my elderly father VERY well, but he needs some polish. There is no “secretary of the Justice Department” but there is an Attorney General. James Smithson was never in the US…he was pretty big on a conspiracy theory regarding Lincoln/Booth but doesn’t mention the other assassination attempts that night.

    Took this tour last week. Honestly, the absolute worst tour we've ever had and we travel and tour frequently. Granted, the tour guide said he was new...but besides the just awful narration (a person in the tour asked 'what is the building on the left'...a huge government building...he replied 'I don't know') The tour guide's driving was terrifying. We were never so glad for the end of this 'tour' Would have been more informative if a 5th grader had taken us around instead...and probably safer.
