This unique trolley tour provides an entirely new perspective on the city of Washington DC and its many famous locations by moonlight.

Meet your guide and the rest of the tour group at 1001 E St NW. Then climb aboard one of the orange and green trolleys and enjoy the view with live commentary from a local guide.

Ride along the same streets the presidents have traveled and see the Washington Monument lit up for the evening. Pass the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, illuminated from the Tidal Basin; the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial, featuring cascading waterfalls and sculptures; and the National World War I and World War II Memorials, with a spectacular fountain display.

There’s also the Lincoln Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the White House, Capitol Hill and the dome of the United States Capitol, plus the United States Supreme Court Building and the Library of Congress. Great night in DC! Our trolley driver, Sooner Steve, was fantastic! Lots of great information and history, great personality, and sense of humor. The monuments and city were beautiful, at night. Could have used 5 more minutes at each stop, but we’re slow walkers. Highly recommend!

Byron the entertainer was fantastic. My 9 year old granddaughter loved the entire experience. Great narration and multiple stops to enjoy the memorials. I have always had good experiences with Old Town Trolley in several cities I have visited. I would definitely recommend.

I’ve taken this tour twice now. One last year and one 09/20/2023. The monuments were beautiful at night, but what really made the trip so much fun was Byron Tyler!! He was amazing and made the trip worth every penny! Thank you for employing him and he deserves a raise!
