What To Expect
Make your way to the Adrenalin Forest Obstacle Course, which is located just north of Wellington. Get a briefing on safety and the course, then learn to use a Clic-iT safety system that will allow you to move through the course independently, without help from a guide.
The course features more than 100 challenges that are distributed across seven different height levels, so you can work your way up from 5 feet (1.5 meters) above the ground to the very top level, at 101 feet (31 meters). How far and how fast you go entirely up to you, and the obstacles become more difficult as you work your way through the course.
Don’t forget to stay creative as you move through the ropes course, as every obstacle can be tackled using strength, agility, or brain power. You’ll try to get past the Indiana jump, crossed logs, wrecking balls, and a Tarzan jump, as well as zip-lines, swings, rope bridges, and climbing nets. Access to the course includes all necessary safety equipment, and a GoPro HD is available to rent.

A great way to spend a couple of hours.

A great way to get into the outdoors while in Wellington if you're traveling with kids. It was nice to see locals also pulling up to have a climb.
After a cursory safety briefing/explanation, you are turned loose on the course, so would be good to have some experience of complex ropes courses. Saw many of the staff working on one of the routes so that was reassuring, and one was even marked off limits after they discovered something wrong with it.
The pin isn't 100% evident to the location - you have to walk through a parking lot on either side to get to where the course is in the middle, right between an an active road.
