We had such a great time on this tour! The stops were perfect! We absolutely loved the chocolate, wishing we had purchased more. The cheese was delicious and the winery was the perfect end to our tour, with incredible food, wine and views. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone heading to NZ!

Delightful Day

What a delightful day! I believe our tour guide was Phil. He is a native of the area and filled our day with interesting history and facts about the region. All three stops were so enjoyable. The cheese factory/store had delicious cheeses as well as a very nice presentation. The chocolate factory/store was quaint and made more fun with a chocolate-tasting quiz, not to mention the high quality and flavor of the chocolates. The final stop at Muirlea Rise topped the day off with a wine-tasting of "reds, reds, and more reds." I highly recommend this tour.

Excellent half day tour. Phil was very knowledgeable, interesting and accommodating. When we booked he emailed to check where we wanted to be picked up from, so even though our hotel wasn't on the list of pickup places, Phil offered to pick us up from our hotel. There were only 7 people on our tour, which meant everyone had plenty of opportunities to ask questions and chat to Phil. Phil was completely unphased by having 2 vision impaired people on his tour. I have some sight and my partner has none. Phil just got on with it with no fuss, but reassured us he'd help whenever we needed it, which he did. The cheese, wine and chocolate tastings were excellent and fun. I'd highly recommend any tour Phil is leading.

Cheese tasting, chocolate tasting, wine & gin tasting with a friendly, knowledgeable Tour Guide...what's not to like? Enjoyed learning snippets of history along the way. All 'n' all a great little tour! Would've like to have had more time to look around Greytown & Martinborough Square.
