Maximum of 11 people per booking
Please wear appropriate clothing for outdoor activity. During the warmer months, this means shorts and a t-shirt for riding, and a light jacket in reserve. During the colder months you may prefer long pants or tights (nothing baggy that may catch on the bike!), with a tshirt, fleece and light jacket in reserve. Closed shoes - running shoes are perfect - must be worn at all times.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Issac was my guide. Took great care of me. Loved the tunnels, and bridges. Creek running along part of the trail. Too windy (wind gusts) to cross suspension bridge on my bike the day I rode but spectacular sight to look down on the steep canyon below.

Fun ride would book again!

Even in the cold rain we had a blast. Isaac was a great host and did a wonderful job prepping us for the trail and for our first time using e-bikes. The lunch was good and we had plenty of food. We would love to come back and do this again!

This was one of my favorite excursions I did on the north island. The trail was absolutely beautiful! Even though it is recommended for all, there are a few more challenging portions of the trail, so keep in mind. Would highly recommend this trip!

Excellent but be a confident mountain biker!

Communication was good, preparation was good and equipment was top notch. Beautiful views and stunning scenery. The only thing you should know if you are booking this is that you should be confident on a mountain bike. The track for the most part is manageable by most - however the last 4-5km is tough mountain biking - very narrow path, lots of rocks to navigate around and on the side of a pretty high hill. We ended up walking our bikes the last little part (and we are pretty fit). If you have the energy after the first part of the ride take the option to continue to Featherstone - an additional 10km on a flat, rarely used highway with some lovely views and lots of animals to see along the way.

Great solo ride, some nice views and a nice day out if you like cycling or want to do something different Fairly intermediate route, if you go for the e-bike option you’ll find it a breeze but if you want a good workout go for the standard bike as the route I did is mostly level or downhill with some incline If you do the route in reverse it is mostly uphill and you will definitely need an ebike

We had a good time to bike even it wasn't mostly sunny. Green looked clearer and more beautiful under a little cloudy weather. This tour gave us an opportunity to experience a true nature of beautiful Wellington.
