Phil was a great guide and every stop was great. The chocolate blind taste quiz was fun. Wine tasting and lunch amazing, seals were a highlight, Lighthouse climb and then a quality meal at the brac and now. Well worth the money. Loved everything about it. Had a great bunch of friendly people on tour. New friends were made.

I booked this tour for my husband's birthday, and he absolutely loved it! There were so many interesting and amazing things to do and see from chocolate, cheese, and wine tasting to experiencing 1,000 year-old trees, fur seals, and the Cape Palliser Light House up close. We also enjoyed many other unique sights and stops along the way. Not only was the tour spectacular, the meals we had at Poppies and the Royal Hotel were outstanding! The Royal Hotel restaurant even presented my husband with a special birthday macaroon dessert while the group sang "Happy Birthday" to him. Out of all our vacation tours, he said this was his favorite. In my husband's words: "The Martinborough Wine and Wild Coast Tour made my 70th birthday completely and forever memorable! The wine, chocolate and cheese tasting were great fun, especially doing it together as a group (and I don't even like wine!). Seeing the fur seals up close in nature was an unforgettable experience as was looking south from the Cape Palliser Lighthouse over an expanse of water that lies unbroken until one reaches the coast of Antarctica. We were able to get hundreds of wonderful photos to enjoy now that we're home. Our driver, Phil, was so modest that I had to force my tip upon him in gratitude for his exceptional service. We are Very Satisfied Customers!"

Phil sent above and beyond for us - he kept us informed on potential road closures and arranged alternatives - but thankfully we were able to take this wonderful tour - informative throughout he was great tour guide. This trip has everything nature, wine, chocolate tasting, fantastic lunch and dinner and nearly 300 steps to up to a lighthouse to get your heart pumping. A Great all day trip!

Amazing tour!! We were looking for something different that combined a variety of experiences in one day, and this was perfect! Phil was fantastic. Brought us to 2 vineyards and was very knowledgeable about the area to and from Martinborough. He also pointed out a few lord of the rings filming spots. To top everything off he brought us to a fur seal colony which was a sight I won't soon forget.

What an awesome tour. Got to see so much of the coast I would never have seen otherwise. Cheese, chocolate, lakes, native Forrest, wine- (heaps of tastings) the most amazing platter I’ve ever had, seals, a light house, local history the most amazing dinner and more. Phil was thoroughly knowledgeable and everyone was so happy and fulfilled at the end of the day. Best way to get a good taste of everything.
